i predicting kanye just go look at his tour dates and theres a gap You mean the 2 day gap between Minnesota (Saturday the 24th) and Saskatoon (Tuesday the 27th)? That's a fair distance of travel I just can't see him flying his whole crew from Minnesota to essentially the west coast then flying back to the middle of the Canadian prairies the very next day.

im gonna go out on a limb and say that we might see mogwai there. they were rumored to be playing coachella according to CoS, but aren't on the bill. according to this website they are looking for festival(s), and i think sasquatch! would be a good fit for this band. www.groundcontroltouring.com/avails/not too sure how reliable this source is however.

Source as in the site: that's totally reliable. Sasquatch is a total possibility, and the most likely of any festival, assuming they play a festival at all.

I'd like to add that The End (Seattle's "alt" station and one of the ones going to be pushing this concert heavily) is pissing me off with all these teases about knowing the lineup already, and not announcing it until Monday morning.

I have been excited about the comedy stage ever since the announcement, but I'm thinking that will take away one of the stages for other bands, so I'm mixed. I hope that Flight of the Conchords are there (Sub Pop) and i don't know who else.

Tom, who is the sometimes reliable source about Weezer? That is awesome! Hope it happens! A buddy of mine that does IT support for Ticketmaster. He said he was helping a web designer set up the purchase page for Sasquatch! and it said featuring R.E.M, The Cure, Modest Mouse, Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie, and more! Now in 2006 he alerted me to the NIN announcement weeks before it hit the press. I assumed he was a solid source because of it. In 2007 he told me that the headliners were going to Beastie Boys and The Police. Obviously he was quite incorrect on The Police situation. At this point I am not sure Weezer is a viable option for all the same reasons that everyone else pointed out. I was just wanting to make it clear I was not making random guesses and calling them rumors.

So who is the third headliner? Flaming Lips? Or do you think another headliner will be added?

There's what, 55 bands?
Expect 15-25 more before it's all said and done.
