Has anybody on here listened to Black Cobra's Invernal? This album is fucking awesome. that is all I need to learn to pay attention to your recommendations. I just listened to them for the first time and about starting punching holes in my walls. Those guitars are sooo fucking heavy. Fuck yes to Black Cobra!!! Definitely check out Enabler if you dig this kind of sound. Looks like it's time for me to really start diving into Southern Lord.

Haha, I really like finding labels that put out music I like and digging through their roster. For example Black Cobra is on Southern Lord and I have liked most of the things they put out. The same goes for Good To Die Records out of Seattle. Other than that it is you guys and friends Dood. Have you heard this glorious triple gatefold lp? Boris with Merzbow - Rock DreamA 2 hour live performance of nonstop rockin' your fuckin' socks in their native Japan that starts off with Boris' acclaimed Feedbacker album played in its entirety. So much entirety that it takes up 1.75 sides of the lp. Then they just relentlessly pummel your face on side three with all their hardcore-as-fuck umtempo material. And then they take you deeeeep deeeeep into the abyss with three sides of deeeeeeep exteeeeended cuts. I don't know if you're into Merzbow yet, but of everyone I know I believe you would appreciate his signature harsh blends of noise more than anyone. If not, this is definitely a good starting point. I'm listening to it currently and aside from Strawberry Jam, it's probably my favorite record that I own.

What the fuck happened to Converge?? The vocals in this new track are absolutely terrible up until the end. Not sure how excited I am about this new album now.

Just found out that Rabbits out of Portland are having their Seattle album release party on 10/12 at The Kraken in the U-District. I have never been to this bar but I am guessing it is not big. I am most likely going to this show and it is going to be kick ass. If in the area you may enjoy if you enjoy the heavy

That is walking distance from my house. Probably gonna happen.

I guess that doesn't mean much anymore, as fig and I vastly expanded the parameters of "wallking distance" in Seattle. Pea's house is now walking distance. HG and Stormy: did you think we were driving back to Portland after Animal Collective? Better bring yo' boots. The road to Sasquatch 2013 will be walked. Goldbeard: let's fucking walk to Bonnaroo.
walk walk walk walk walk, owwwwww
Name that artist.

That is walking distance from my house. Probably gonna happen. My walking distance limit is Neumos to lower Queen Anne after a show in Seattle

The new Testament has been rated very highly among the metal community. It is solid, but I think it might be a little overrated.
