After an underwhelming but satisfying 3 rounds of sex it was late and I felt like leaving in order to go shmoque and listen to some new albums. So as she turned off the light I started to hyperventilate and told her I needed to leave.
As I have and continue to suffer panic/anxiety and severely depressive episodes I know fairly well how to induce the symptoms associated with them.
So she walked me out to my car and I got in, left and smoqued and listened to some chunes and drove home.
Was it ethical? No, but hey, I never intended to see her again. Such is life.
Got my flu shot yesterday. Spent the entire night awake with the lower half of my body aching like a motherfucker. Till around 5:30 am I had the genius idea to.. i don't know.. take some fucking Tylonal. So I'm tired as fuck and still achey, come to the university for a lab meeting that doesn't even start till next week.
Fuck you today. Fuck you.

It may be that this round of flu (and thus what they're giving you with a vaccination) is just particularly bad. I actually got the flu last week and it did quite a number on me. Serious full-body aches/pains..
It's actually surprising how many healthcare workers refuse the flu shot. At least in my department there are probably a third of the employees not vaccinated.
Having never gotten sick from the shot I always think people are kind of blaming the shot for them having a shitty day...but after some reading, apparently there is some validity to the flu-shot "flu" --but from all documentation it is most definitely not as bad as the actual virus.
Any way, it's free and it will protect you from the three most prominent flu strains, which in recent years have actually been killing the 18-45 age group...what exactly is your aversion to getting it?
