Two things:
1) Emerald City Comic Con is this weekend and I totally forgot. How is it I am always totally broke by the time this thing rolls around?
2) Had an panic/anxiety attack on Monday, and all of yesterday my body was just going crazy. It's better today, but I still catch myself not breathing/with my shoulders tensed up like crazy. I have no idea why this happened but Monday night I felt like there was an anvil on my chest and I could barely breathe for hours. WHAT THE FUCK BODY, STOP THESE SHENANIGANS.

Panic attacks are the absolute worst. I got them for a brief period when I had a bad reaction to a smoking cessation medication. Had to be put on Ativan for a week until it half-lifed out of my system. tust remember that muscle tensing and cramping is from your breathing. Take deep slow breaths.

Times a million regarding breathing. Try to catch yourself and control your breathing. Long deep breaths can help relax your body. Once Nater said something about breathing out for at least 8 seconds helps your body relax and I have found this to be true.

Just failed my accounting midterm and I sprained my knee and can't walk. What a week. Got just keep trudging on. Hopefully in a month or two I will be accepted into business school.

Alternative to Meds1) Try laying down on your back with a semi-heavy book on your belly and slowly raise the book up and down using your diaphram and long slow breaths. 2) Focus your energy on the 5 senses (what do I see? hear? smell? taste? touch?). This is a grounding technique and often stops the panic cycle, according to my clients. 3) Yoga!

Once Nater said something about breathing out for at least 8 seconds helps your body relax and I have found this to be true. Yep the muscle cramping is because your body isn't expelling the CO2 and it's essentially making your blood acidic. I'm sure Rusty could get more in depth about it as I'm a little far removed from school.

Just finished a 12 hour night shift...can't wait to have some subway and then sleep...NOPE. Didn't make it out of the hospital parking lot before someone slams into the back of my car.
I'm not even going to say the stereotype of what hit me. All I know is that my fucking neck kills. Fuck today. And of course it is my girlfriends fathers car, so looks like no sleep for me today. Basically Waaahh, I'm a big whiny baby.
