I have updated the name of this thread in light of some absolutely awful news.
Sometimes shit happens to other people that puts your own shit in perspective. My shit ain't so bad.

It's nothing that affects me personally, but someone I know through phone and email that I do business with daily had a bad day.
Anyways, bad things happen to good people. Far worse things than I could possibly ever imagine having to deal with. It put things in perspective.

We all know that guy, right? I think we're all just subconsciously affected by Calvin and Hobbes due to it being a large part of our formative years. (My attempt at sounding smart is really going to be ruined if I used the wrong affect/effect here.)

Thought I was looking all fresh in my work attire this morning when I go and spill a giant coffee all down my shirt. I am giving a presentation to my boss in 15 minutes too. I've been going at this thing with a tide pen for the last two hours. Fuck my life.

Wouldnt it be easier just to run home and get a new shirt, then spend 2 hours fucking around with a messy one? Or better yet, keep a backup shirt (or 10) at work, considering you sound even more derpy with food than me.

So as if yesterday didn't suck enough, I got home to find out that it's time for Maegan to start paying back her student loans.
$650 A MONTH FOR THE NEXT 9 AND A FUCKING HALF YEARS!
Excuse me while I kick this rock.

Excuse me while I kick this rock. If it makes you feel better, one of my best friends will be paying off his flight school fees for another 30 years...at the chune of $750 a month. The kicker? Like me, he doesn't want to fly professionally anymore. I'm so fucking lucky I didn't rack up the debt he has, and also that the only person I'll be paying back is my mom.
