Were fucking phenomenal. Dark horse of the weekend for me. Their sound and energy were off the charts and they turned that tent into an insane dance party. We ran into a couple dudes from Tahoe that we had met in Yakima while getting dry ice right before the set and they said 'I think people underestimate what is about to go down' as there was only about 50-100 of us in the tent before the set started, within 10 minutes the tent was full and people were raging their faces off. The beats were heavy and the set was put together flawlessly. There was a five-foot tall pirate getting bounced around the entire set and when he got low on air, people next to me blew him up and kept him raging. At one point there was the pirate, two penguins, and a gumby all up in the air dancing away.
One of the most fun sets of the weekend for me and definitely my biggest surprise. Really want to see them again and wouldn't be surprised if they gained a lot of popularity.

Frush if we start a thread for every set that we enjoyed this place is going to be a fucking mess.

My bad, just wanted to draw attention to it because it was my biggest surprise of the weekend and there hasn't been much chatter about them.

It's cool, man. I was going to move it into one of the larger threads, but ultimately it doesn't really matter. I'm glad it was a rad set.

They were a huge surprise for me too. I wrote them off because I didn't think I would make it in time for them, but I managed to catch about 20 minutes and was blown away. I really hope to see them again soon.

That was quite the day and Nobody Beats the Drum was just fantastic.

That's actually when and where I saw you. I was just getting back to the festival when NBTD was playing, and I walked past you outside of the dance tent around that time. I didn't say hi because it took me about a minute to figure out why you looked so familiar.

Next year don't totally bail on the board two weeks before the festival and maybe I'll say hi to you when I spot you as well.

Nobody Beats the Drum was AWESOME! I personally HATED that dumbass deflated pirated. That fucker was saggy the whole show. If you want to relive that wondrous memory. I have an excellent video that captured the pinnacle of their set - Blood on My Hands. Gives me goosepoops watching it again! Purity Ring / NBTD were the only dance tent partying we did this year.
