Weird timing to be making my first-ever post in the "It's A Wrap" thread the week AFTER Sasquatch... but Jason (Burrito) made me promise to never skip Sasquatch again and to join the board (I'm Chelsea apparently also known as Ms.Burrito). I had the pleasure of meeting some of you at his house this weekened (David, Steph, Sarah/Souly, Lumpy) and I look forward to meeting the rest of you next year at the Gorge! Missing Sasquatch this year (only the second year I have missed in 11 years) was SUPER depressing but I'm really glad Mr. Burrito went and had such a good time with all you folks. Thank god Bonnaroo is just around the corner! (No kisses) No real names! No Kisses? what kind of terrible rule is that? i'm going to be the girl with terrible board etiquette, who disregards the rules and you're going to be soooo emberassed. smooch.

So first Sasquatch was an UNBELIEVABLE SUCCESS!!!! The very first day my festival fam and I decided we're doing this every. single. year. from now on! It was sooo much better than I could have even imagined. All of the people were incredible! Everyone was so nice and friendly, and the atmosphere was fucking awesome.
I didn't go out and meet any of you, but if anyone came by the campsite with the flag that had a red 250 on it, that was my group! We met so many people because of that damn flag. Using your area code is a great idea lol

That fucking boat. One morning we were walking by it, trying to guess its length when some older guy with the most radical mustache in the world popped out of it and yelled, "Its 30ft!"

That boat is how I found my friend with my glowsticks.
Her text to me "Where are you? We are by the boat, come find us!"
I thought this was the dumbest marker ever, so I wandered around looking for a little boat on top of a car or something, then I see it, and think "Oh THE boat, that makes sense"
I'm also pretty positive I have a picture of that guy with a mustache fig. Just a sense, I'll try to rememeber to post his picture when I get home.

So I never managed to meet up with any of you guys, but thanks for the pre-festival encouragement to suck it up and go. I had an amazing time and went through my weekend almost overly prepared.
Balancing a good time and no babysitter was interesting though. Pregamed a bit too much on Monday and don't remember my walk from camp to the gates or if I managed to catch any of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. But I came to in the front of the pit for Joy Formidable, so it all worked out. At least until my drunk ass decided to pee into an empty beer cup between them and Feist instead of losing my spot. It worked, but I don't think my pit neighbors appreciated it much.
Came home, slept for a day and then battled crazy sickness. Sasquatch plague, sinus infection, whatever. Maybe I'll actually meet you folks next year.

A friend of mine who didn't attend Sasquatch caught their local show the Friday of Sasquatch and said they mainly played old stuff. They went from a 10, to a 2, to a 6, so it's nice they understand their appeal. Their Some Loud Thunder tour was one of the worst shows I've seen.

Does anyone remember who did the (brief) cover of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" on the mainstage? It is driving me nuts!

My only knowledge of grouplove was their song in fifa 12, which I only realised when they played it, but they were one of the best surprises of the weekend

Grouplove, aka Molly Ringwald and Company I was trying that whole set to figure out who she looked like. Also could be called "Guy who looks like a weird mix of Kurt Cobain and a grunge David Bowie and Co."
