Paul van Dyk - Evolution
I normally can't stand electronic music with vocals, and even some of the tracks on this album are pretty damn cheesy, but it's really grown on me since it was released and I saw a copy at Best Buy, so I Dr. Garbanzoured why not. I think PvD has become one of, if not my favorite EDM producer. That dude seriously has a deep catalog of great music that spans a pretty damn long time.

Pretty good album. I know what you mean about the vocals. When I started getting into trance I had to learn how to get past the corny vocals, and listen to the music. The Owl City vocals really surprised me on that album, but they kind of caught on after a few listens.

Yea...I really had a hard time getting past that track at first, but I've come around to it. Some of the vocals on that album are quite nice, actually.

Basement Jaxx - Remedy (CD) Paul van Dyk - Out There and Back (CD)
GREAT FUCKING DAY!! I swear the Half Price Books in Tacoma has exactly what I'm looking for (and then some) every time I stop in there. Thanks for the Remedy recommendations, guys. Already really enjoying it.

I just placed my pre-order for Sugar's Copper Blue/Beaster reissue. This is one of my favourite albums of all time. Can't wait for it to arrive.
"Copper Blue / Beaster 3-CD set is a remastered deluxe edition of Sugar’s quintessential debut album and companion EP, plus B-sides, a complete 1992 live show and 40-page booklet. The 2-LP version contains Copper Blue and Beaster on vinyl, with a coupon included for full download of the records, B-sides, complete liner notes and an entire 1992 live show".

Death Grips - The Money Store (CD)
Even the songs that I fucking hated when first looking into these guys are kicking my ass right now. This is the craziest shit I've heard since The Locust and Dillinger Escape Plan.
I will now be making my way into the ongoing favorite albums thread.

This is the craziest shit I've heard since The Locust and Dillinger Escape Plan. I will now be making my way into the ongoing favorite albums thread. I went to 4 different record stores inquiring about this vinyl, only to finally be told at the 4th store that only the CD has been widely released, and each record store only received 1 vinyl copy on Record Store Day. Then, the dude wanted to go above and beyond the standard douchebaggery that his demeanor implied, and actually told me, while laughing, that he bought that store's only copy. Doooooouchechill.

Frank Zappa - Apostrophe Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour Talking Heads - Fear of Music The Who - Who Are You Steppenwolf - Slow Flux Mongo Santamaria - Mongo '70 Richard Harris - My Boy Julian Lennon - The Secret Value of Daydreaming
