Kim Thayil hasn't been cool since before Beiber was born. LOL. Animal Collective? "Shreek thump boom shreek shreek, arrrrrrrrgggggggggggg, shreek thump shreek thump, aaaaaaaaayyyyyyye." They make music meant to annoy your dog. LOL. And Godspeed You! Black Emperor, what even is that?

Hey now. No trash talking Bob Mould. I was one of the dozens who watched his Sasquatch set so I'm allowed Husker Don't jokes. One of my biggest disappointments of missing Sasquatch that year! Not to mention Guided by Voices and Archers of Loaf. Plus, I was only joking about the razzing of the albums. If something like that rattled me then I would have been gone a long fucking time ago.

Well those same three names were my biggest disappointments of going to Sasquatch that year if it makes ya feel any better.

Well those same three names were my biggest disappointments of going to Sasquatch that year if it makes ya feel any better. It doesn't, but I appreciate the sentiment. I listened to the live broadcast of Guided by Voices and thought it sounded pretty awesome.

Well those same three names were my biggest disappointments of going to Sasquatch that year if it makes ya feel any better. Mould needed a backing band and GBV clearly didn't want to be there. Archers of Loaf were pretty awesome though. I met Weak Shit after that show (RIP).

Yeah, Pollard sort of mailed in that set, even tempering his drunkenness just to get it finished. But I was still in a state of bliss and awe for the duration. It also provided one of the funniest Sasquatch artist quips I've heard when he said that Chromeo sucked and the remaining hipsters in the crowd booed.

Nice. I'm doing the Price is Right thing trying to guess what the value of each of those titles is that they would add up to $50, because Bridge Over Troubled Water and that BOC album can basically be found under park benches and being used to level wobbly tables, but pretty much any Bowie in halfway decent condition will usually run you at least $30 at this point.

So, I guess that that Heroes record wasn't actually Heroes, it was the Beauty and the Beast promotional single I guess. It was the exact same cover for Heroes, so I just kinda grabbed it without looking at the sticker on the front.

I came home from DG weekend to a package from Temporary Residence. Finally got around to cracking into it, and either I'm getting the frequent customer hook-up, or they're having trouble pushing some of their bands because along with the records I ordered: My Disco - Wrapped Coast / All I Can Do [12"] Pinback - Information Retrieved pt. B [7"] Tarentel - We Move Through Weather [12"] they also sent me the following CDs: Coliseum - House With a Curse Grails - Doomsdayer's Holiday and on top of that they threw in a download code for the full-length Information Retrieved
Either way, love those guys.

Checked out a record store today that I haven't spent much time in. It's actually located directly beneath the Neptune theater that many of us have been frequenting lately. They mostly specialize in jazz and popular music, but I did manage to find a decent collection of experimental music hiding on the floor in the furthest, darkest, dustiest corner of the room. I was mostly just browsing, as I was in the area primarily to spend my money on Residents tickets, but I couldn't pass up this self-titled Mouthus album with two silver shining kitties on the cover. Limited pressing, #64/350 and it's sounding gritty and beautiful. Mouthus demands the drugs. Badchoices, you would dig this.

Maybe wait until after work if it has such demands
