Girl Talk was a super fun party and then I was totally let down by Pretty Lights following. I wish Feed Me would have played instead. I didn't think Pretty Lights was super danceable and I thought they would have a better stage show.

Pretty Lights was putting the weird on my acid trip, and not necessarily in a good way. The music was fucking terrible, and the visuals were just a little too much for me to handle a lot of the time. Definitely a letdown after Girl Talk, who really should have headlined that night. I was done with it long before it was over.

Even so, at least half a dozen times a sudden shift in the music/lights caused me to scream, 'WHOAH!'.

I really really needed to find DeadPunk during Pretty Lights and I had a hard time enjoying it because it didn't feel complete without him. I still had a blast but there was a piece missing.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I thought Girl Talk was pretty lame and Pretty Lights was off the chain. Feed me was aight, but partying with ya'll made it pretty fantastic.

James Murphy had the best dance music of the weekend though. Holy moly.

My favorite dance party was STRFCKR, but that was because I had a huge group of friends right in the middle mashing bodies up against each other. Good times. Good times.
