Whatever, couldn't been that bad, we both still slept in there all weekend. I took my blanket over to my mom's house to wash today and before I could even throw it in the washer my dog fucking humped it. That thing in the past few days has been subjected to vomit, Shax's nut sweat, dust, and now dog vagina. I'm impressed, really.

It's a sign you should stop being a Seahawks fan.

I actually feel pretty great. No voice, and I'm still finding sand everywhere....but I'm pretty good!

My only issue is the sniffles and the fact that I can't think of the most basic words....
Like.. hey, whats that thing that we put food in that keeps it cold so it doesn't go bad...
Thats how mushy my brain is. Also I haven't been able to significantly engage about coachella with anyone who wasn't there. I'm not ready to reflect yet. When I close my eyes I'm still in the polo fields in a silly hat throwing darts in the air.

Oh and that I take a bath or a shower every single chance that I get and climb immediately into my onesie.

Finally starting to feel human again. In the last 3 days all I have eaten is soup, smoothies and cereal. I had my first real lunch today and don't feel like killing everyone I work with anymore.
So, many thanks to Shax for getting our asses there so early. That spot we got was fantastic. Many thanks to Cat and Stamper for keeping said camp in living condition and making sure our canopies and tents survived the windstorm(s).
Top 10
1. New Order. Just, holy shit. 2. Blur. Sucked the crowd was small, but gave me more room. 3. Violent Femmes. Before their set I was talking to Stamps about them and he said he hoped they would play their entire first album and then American Music. That's exactly what they played (in 55 minutes), despite never having done a full album set before. FLAMING LIPS, TAKE NOTE. 4. WU-TANG. Holy shit full orchestra. 5. Hot Chip 6. Postal Service. About a million times better than I expected. 7. YYYs. 8. Pryds. One of the best EDM sets I've ever seen, despite being total exausted. 9. Vampire Weekend. 10. Johnny Marr. He played How Soon is Now? and There is a Light That Never Goes Out.
So many more good sets, I feel stupid leaving some out.

During Violent Femmes, Stamper and I would look at each other at the beginning of each song and go, "holy shit, are they just going to play this whole album?" And then he said, "if you haven't noticed, we're just playing our whole first album. We've never done that before."
Badass.

Sounds like the campground security checks this weekend were at least twice as thorough and long. My friends waitied about six hours and got all of their party favors taken away from them. They were threatened with getting their wristbands cut and even had the police called on them, but somehow they managed to get through, but without any of their stash.

Whereas I shanked my security guard and got through with a minimal check. Boobs man, its all about the boobs.
And yeah, C2C was a great surprise.. I knew I'd love one of their songs, I didn't realize how much I was going to lose my shit to their whole set. I think a couple boardies were with me for it too, and were similarly impressed. Good shit. Great energy. Then straight from that into beardyman. AMAZING start to the weekend.

what? Is Coachella really that bad at searching people that they look IN BRAS before you even get to the campground? How does this work? Is there TSA style full body Xrays, or just chicks feeling up other chicks? I know you're going on private property and they can make up some BS rules, but is it even legal to search through someone's vehicle/property? I don't even think someone glanced in my vehicle driving into Sasquatch last year, let alone a full cavity search.
