Since J-Dawg is a little out of the Facebook loop, I f.igure I'll bring the meetup conversation into this thread since we're just a little over two weeks out (TWO FUCKING WEEKS!!!).
It sounds like the collective is interested in all camping together and entering the campground as early as possible on Thursday. I believe we've settled on a meetup time of 7:30-8am somewhere in Indio. Have we settled on a location yet?

I believe Shax is encouraging some McDonalds nearby so we can all load up on McMuffins.

There's one on Highway 111 right near Monroe street. That seems like it would probably be the best option if we're doing McDonalds.

For some reason I thought you didn't have a FB page. Will do!

Yeah there or the Walmart in La Quinta. They're a couple blocks apart. It's on the 111 and is right before Jefferson, which I'm pretty sure is the road to turn off towards the polo fields. We can meet at the Walmart at 730. I'll head to McD's to buy everyone who was there on time some breakfast. 8am sharp, we take off towards the fields.
Deal?

J-Dawg is my driver so as long as that works for him I'm in!

That works for me. You and Lahey are on "keep J-Dawg awake" duty for the drive though. Which means you guys need to pick out some good music. The car has a USB / iPod connector.

Perfect! I always make a festival playlist anyway. We'll all just have to load up on the caffeine that morning.

I'm very excited to meet Stamper and Cat for the first time. I'm also concerned that everyone is going to party me under the table and I'll get made fun of.

I'm very excited to meet Stamper and Cat for the first time. Me as well. I'm don't remember if I met Cat and Stamper at Sasquatch or not. My apologies if so - my facial recognition skills generally suck, and they're even worse if I've been drinking. No chance. I'm easily the lamest regular on the board.

I have a feeling J-Dawg is going to hate me by the end of the weekend. I should probably just keep my tornado far far away from the campsite until it's time to leave.

I'm excited. By the sounds of it, Festival Pea is much crazier than Festival Nater, thereby deflecting attention and hate away from the Nater.

Actually, 2012 was a very good year for me. Behaviourly (new word?) speaking.

I was mostly an angel and one of the more mellow folks in my group at Sasq last year, but I also had ear infections in both ears and full on face AIDS.
Also, I should start avoiding human contact. Getting sick before festivals is the WORST THING EVER.

Last year both my girlfriend and I got a cold at Sasquatch on Sunday/Monday. The drive home was unbearably uncomfortable and all around awful. I recommend avoiding getting sick at festivals based on this experience.
