Also, fuck it, I'd be very impressed and happy to see the Postal Service on there. That would be a huge reunion for this generation. That was the only project of Gibbard's that I ever really enjoyed, so I'd definitely love to see it live.

It doesn't rule the knife out or anything but it would be odd if they booked two small warmup shows in their home country for a month after coachella. The mid may shows make them seem more likely for something like primavera.
Edit: forgot they were from Sweden not Denmark. I still think it'd be a bit odd.

Agreed, I think it's more likely to see The Knife over in North America in 2014...but who the fuck knows with them.
Pea - Agreed, I would be psyched to see The Postal Service. That album was huge for me in college. I liked it about a thousand times more than anything Death Cab ever did.

If Postal Service are reuniting for a tour, they have to do Sasquatch, right? Shit, they'd probably headline.
Are the Knife sub-headliners if they're at Coachella?

If they're on the Coachella lineup, I think we can count on them being at Sasquatch too. It'd be awesome if they took the rumored Mumford and Sons headlining spot.

The Postal Service would probably co headline. One album ain't enough for full on headliner.

Considering I only want to hear like five songs, they could have a sub-sub spot and that would be fine.

Monklish said this a while ago, I heard this on SiriusXM altnation last week and now this. Has anyone cracked the Monklish mystery over on the Coachella boards yet?

What mystery? Like who she is? She's no one... a bored boarder like anyone else... At least that's my take.

She probably just emails every band every year.

I heard she once had a Marshall stack fall on her head at a Jesus and Mary Chain concert (pre-reunion, OBVIOUSLY). The doctors said she should've been dead and none of them could medically explain why she wasn't (apparently she is considered "legally" dead in 20 states). Anyway, so since that day she's always been able to see into the Coachella future and not turn her head to the right.

I knew a bunny who couldn't turn right. Had to do three left turns to go 'round a corner.

I read somewhere that he can't tour anymore because of a heart condition.

His producer said today that his health is perfect, he's over those problems. No plans to tour doesn't mean not touring. Still, I'm doubtful.

This stuff pisses me off so much. Fuck I just wish the lineup will come out so I can either stop paying attention to these potentially bullshit claims, or get super fucking excited: "Anonymous said... So I work at a company called Vortex Immersion Media that deals in a number of visual display technologies. I just ran into a friend who works in the special projects department of R&D. He has been burning the candle at both ends and I hadn't seen him in a solid 6 months. I asked him what hes been so busy on and he steered the conversation away from the topic. So a few minutes later I asked again. He was hesitant but finally told me he's spent the last few months specially contracted by Paul Hahn. I asked who that was and he told me hes the head of Daft Arts. Again I gave him a blank stare until he just yelled DAFT PUNK! at me. He went on to describe some of the live show aspects and I honestly don't believe half of them. But he said he's been so busy because the primary phases of the setup had to be finished by early February. When I again asked why he said that everything had to fully operational and ready for live rehearsal by March for Coachella. I'm not an idiot, I know how ridiculous this sounds but this is actually happening. Daft Punk is playing Coachella 2013 and they are cooking up maybe the greatest spectacle ever seen at a concert. The wait will have been well worth it come April. Their work really is never over. January 9, 2013 5:00 AM www.c3so.com/collaborators.html"
