Hi there,
I had a little taste(one day) last year of the vip sasquatch experience and was thrilled on the stage access and have been looking tirelessly for some passes this year. On the site they were selling them as a package for 1000 something which is way out of my budget so ive been looking else where and may have found one legitimate seller. He says hes a ticket broker and is unloading 500+ ga tickets and has a few vip passes.
My question is if anyone has any details on what the vip passes are like this year, as last year it was bracelets we were given by a friend of a band so i have no idea what the vip ticket should look like. The broker man told me it was similar to the ga tickets but had a band that was red and gold that said vip. If anyone could confirm the look or any details about them id be indebted to you forevvvver!( Would gladly buy you a 9$ beer or toke up together)
I'm planning on calling the gorge for more details but this was my first stop for info so if you could, help me out boarders! Thanks!

If the fest is selling them for 1000+ and a scalper is selling them for less then that should be your first warning sign.
I would imagin that a ticket bought from the fest and a ticket given to the bands would also look different, but that's just a guess. Be careful on this one.

Artist passes and VIP passes would more then likely be different things altogether.
You're asking for trouble when someone makes you an offer that is too good to be true. Especially when that someone's end goal is to PROFIT from the sale of passes.
For one, you shouldn't buy from scalpers and encourage them to be the scum of the earth. For two, this person is probably trying to rip you off.

Thanks for the tips. I take great caution with any kind of online sale and appreciate any insight. It'll take some pretty concrete signs for me to be sold but I've been looking for some time and don't want to miss a chance.
So my thoughts when he said he was a ticket broker was maybe he had some better deal on bulk tickets but I don't know if deals like that exist. Maybe he doesn't know what they're worth?
I figured someone here who had vip passes this year could confirm what they look like and that would give me something to work from.
The only reason I've come this far is because all the signs sound reasonable. He's open to meeting up or using paypal which to my understanding they will refund you as long as you follow a few guidelines . Local number. Willing to send me pictures of the tickets before any sale. Something i'm missing?
Thanks again!

So my thoughts when he said he was a ticket broker was maybe he had some better deal on bulk tickets but I don't know if deals like that exist. Maybe he doesn't know what they're worth? Buddy, selling tickets is this guy's job, he knows exactly what they're worth. This is a sold out fest, there's absolutely zero chance of him taking a loss at this point, so any ticket he's selling is minimum 50% profit. minimum. If this is the attitude you're gonna approach buying tickets from a scalper with, I don't think you really deserve a whole bunch of strangers on the Internet warning you that you're about to be taken. So go ahead, give him your money for this deal that's too good to be true because all the signs seem to be "reasonable". Sounds like you've already made up your mind anyway, despite what we might say.

I have one VIP superticket but I've not received it in the mail yet. This is my first year going, do they ship these things out prior to the show or are they will call?

So just to wrap up this story/thread, after contacting the livenation rep who deals with the supertickets confirmed that the tickets from this broker/scalper man were in fact real tickets but something other than supertickets which sound similar to vip box seats(without the seats)
They said there is some standing area near main stage that i dont remember seeing years past but he could confirm they do not get you to the stage viewing areas. So anyone else out there looking for the same thing...if your shown a ticket that looks like your normal sasquatch ticket with a fancy red and gold foil stamp that says vip....be wary. Your vip-ness may be strong but not the strongest!

There are boxes at the back of the main stage pit that are for season ticket holders. I would assume that's what they're referring to.

"Tickets, VIP credentials and other info won't be mailed out until April but please feel free to contact me by email or phone at 206-802-3123 with any questions."
Hmm, end of April and I haven't received anything yet. Guess I'll email Andrew and make sure everything is ok.

Per Andrew @ LiveNation there was a delay in the production of the RFID wristbands. He expects shipping to start around May 8th.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier, I can indeed confirm if your ticket has the foil vip stamp it grants you Cliff House access. If it has the foil vip and under section has a box number then you have seat access and in seat wait service.
Super tickets usually have a lanyard with laminate, this grants you side stage access main stage, side stage on the second biggest stage, and platform access in the dance tent. Guest passes and backstage access will have a cloth wristband. Press usually have paper type wristbands.

Be carful though, because you never know if they will do it the same way as last year and it would be really easy to fake something that looks like a vip lanyard.
