I was the first person into the festival grounds last year, by the way. First non-gorge person, that is, because for some reason in my mind I imagined it would be like the Times Square dream in Vanilla sky but, duh, there were actually like 500 employees walking around and bullshitting. It was a little disappointing.
Got the best spot on the hill though. That's my thing, in case you weren't aware.

Point of the story is, my barcode didn't scan and I was there as the entire LiveNation crew had to figure out how to type the numbers in.

I won VIP tickets from a Kokanee promotion. They are hard tickets one for each day. In the section it says GA row GA6 seat 40 admission COMP, they grey and with a green part and a silver VIP on the end of it. The promotion said it came with camping but I didn't receive any information or separate camping vouchers/tickets. Does anyone know what level of ticket this is? What it accesses (special seat or box or tent?), What kind of camping would be included? etc. I called Live Nation and they said they couldn't asnwer my questions because it was a promotional ticket - although the tickets say live nation all over them. This will be our first time going - any help would be appreciated

It sounds to me like you have box seats near the main stage. If you didn't get a separate ticket for camping, my guess is it comes with general camping.
**EDIT*** Scratch the box seat part. That GA is a dead giveaway. It's general admission, with regular camping. I have no idea what the VIP benefits of that are because they aren't super tickets.
Call these guys and see if you can get some answeres.

What I take from this thread is that drew is holding down the fort for all of us at the sweetest spot in the venue.

Rob and our friend went into the venue on Tuesday morning last year to look for some car keys and said it was the weirdest thing ever. People crawling all over cleaning but otherwise creepy and desolate. No good vibes!

Box seats will say BOX225 or whatever box the seat is in and row 1 or 2 and have a seat number that should be 1-20 or so.

You'll be even more confuse when you try to get a wristband and find out someone already used your ticket because you posted the barcode on the internet.

That same picture has been on every single craigslist ad/ebay auction I have seen. Are those even real tickets? I cant find anything on the entire interwebs about them other than on stubhub.

Yea they are real, some people have VIP boxes and don't want to go. Some are promo tickets from radio station or sponsors. I know Kokanee gave VIP tickets to people that won them. Not sure why those ones that he posted have a price on them cause they are not sold as part of a regular package for Sasquatch. On mine the price is just XXXX.XX. Mine says 290.00 on it and appears to be a legit ticket.

290 is the presale price, so it should be fine. It's not VIP though, is it?
