All this talk of who will be there lets be sure and eliminate the obvious with tour conflicts. Here are some people that may or may not fit the bill but will not be there because they are playing a euro festival within days. Let me know who else wont be there for sure because of tour conflicts.

I noticed some of these bands are in the line-up for Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands, which doesn't necessarily rule them out. I know in the past when Pinkpop has followed the week after Sasquatch!, bands have still played at both (The Frames, The Kooks, Jamie Lidell, and I believe a few others).

so sad about the kooks and placebo not being a possibility. Like I said, bands have played Pinkpop and Sasquatch! the same year.............. Placebo and The Kooks are both at Pinkpop, and Placebo have no dates scheduled before Pinkpop. Don't rule them out yet.

Sigur Ros, a friend works for LN and said they've been trying for a few yearyets and hasn't worked out yet. He may just say this to surprise me later, but I doubt it.

Too bad. They were hands down my favourite act of last year. One of the best shows I've ever seen. So glad I skipped MM to see them (even though I love MM too).

I, on the other hand, decided to skip The National for Modest Mouse. I stand by my choice (I got the short version of Trucker's Atlas), but I was still hoping they'd return to make up for their moved set.
