Always. Heart-healthy is the way to be! Plus a daily dose of Vitamin D to make up for being a ghost that lives in Transylvania.

Whatever. Any pills that I may or may have not consumed in my life are in no way as damaging and addicting as the poison produced by pharmaceutical companies. Yuck. I read some interesting research in my undergrad on extacy (I took an entire course on drugs.. super interesting shit). In monkeys, after one dose of e, 6 months later they had significantly reduced synaptic connections. Shizer. I'm currently teaching part of an undergrad course, Drugs in a Societal Context. What is general considered the "best" literature on MDMA's chronic effects is at least in part here on erowid: www.erowid.org/chemicals/mdma/mdma_neurotoxicity1.shtmlBasically, there has not been any truly effective research done on the matter but as with any psychoactive substance, frequent and chronic use of it will have negative effects in the long run. Just use your head, ya dummies, and space out your usage.

I'll see if I can find the study I'm referencing later... My prof was pretty cool and said the same thing you just did. Know what you're taking, know the risks and be smart.

They talk about it in that article, in fact a large part of that article is looking at extraneous variables which could change how animals react to drugs in tests which impact their findings.

Watch "Ecstasy Rising" on Google video if you want to watch a very interesting and objective documentary on the drug. It's even hosted by Peter Jennings, so you KNOW it's top-notch!

Is anything ever really objective?

Fair enough. But for a documentary by a TV network on a party drug, it's as objective as it gets.

Documentaries are the worst for giving the illusion of objectivity.
