Question: Why is everyone so damn excited to see Purity Ring? Also has anyone seen Metric live and how are they?
Metric is incredible live. I've seen them 4 times and they always bring it. A lot of bands just show up and play their songs, but Metric really puts a lot into it. Don't miss them.
Kind of suprised there aren't more people upset about James Murphy/Bon Iver. Probably the worst conflict for me.
Easy one for me. I've seen Bon Iver before, and James Murphy is much harder to see live. Not to mention Bon Iver kinda puts me to sleep, whereas James is known to make everyone dance with his DJ sets.
I'm beginning to think that UMO/Araabmuzik/Childish Gambino is my biggest tossup. UMO was my initial choice but they seem boring live; Araabmuzik I'm most curious to see, and Gambino had a shit album last year but the last time I saw him was really fun.
I'm also really curious to see what I wind up doing between Clap Your Hands Say Yeah/Cloud Cult/Nick Kroll/Cass McCombs/Don't Talk To The Cops. That's a five-way conflict where I could really see myself defaulting towards any of them. No strong opinions there!
e: Ooh, and Beats Antique may just pull off the HUGE upset over EiTS and Girl Talk.

I'm starting to think I might skip The Shins entirely and sprint down the hill for Jack White after staying for all of chune-Yards and St. Vincent. I've liked everything I've heard from those bands. I'm really digging this song:

James Murphy is going to be playing vinyls of funky disco music for you to dance to; hence, a DJ set. Bon Iver will be performing their music LIVE. That's the deal breaker for me at least. I will still get my dancing derping fix from Feed Me afterward! Win/Win
Also is anyone else spending almost the entire day at the main stage on Monday?
I could probably sit there from noon until Beck leaves stage and enjoy myself.
There are some things I would be sad to miss, and there's no way I could actually stay in the same place for 12 hours, but I am actually interested in catching every set on the Sasquatch stage Monday.

Pretty damn happy with the schedule. My thoughts/conflicts:
Friday The Physics - Little people That's about it. Looks like I will be at the main stage most of Friday.
Saturday Childish Gambino - AraabMuzik. Will probably watch about half of Childish and head to the banana shack. Jack White - Wolfgang Gartner
Sunday Blind Pilot - Portlandia. Not sure how portlandia is going to be, but I think the show is fucking hilarious. So i definitely want to check them out.
And how about Feed Me getting the last spot of the night. That should be pretty nutty.
Monday Mixed feelings about fun. but enough curiosity to catch them. Will be catching all of the D's set! Beck - Nero. Probably start at nero and end out the festival with beck like in 06. Are the puppets coming back?

I think this will especially be the year of not planning anything out and just going with my mood. I.E.: Sunday night: Energized and ready to dance? Go see James Murphy. Just want to "sit back", "chill", and "take it all in"? Go see Bon Iver. That will definitely have to be how I work Monday night, as well.
