Man, that took a while....went through the entire schedule and checked out all the bands I havent really listened to yet (attached schedule below) Green - 1st choice Yellow - 2nd choice/maybe Red - 3rd choice The tough decisions for me is The Shins/St Vincent (was a big shins fan a while back, newest album was just ok though) Have no idea what Im going to do on early Saturday: Blitzen Trapper, Electric Guest, Craft Spells all have some good songs (and some not so good ones), that and they're playing when some good comedians are on too (Pete Holmes and Rob Delaney) And lastly.....The Joy Formidable or fun.? Overall I think Im going to be staying on the main stage for the most part (was bouncing around a lot more last year) Attachments:

The Shins/St. Vincent is killing me. I just fucking can't miss St. Vincent, but I've been waiting for more than ten years for a chance to see the Shins again.

Did you catch St. Vincent's Coachella set on youtube? It was fucking great! The Shins looked pretty good too, but St. Vincent brought the thunder.

Ever since I saw her cover of 'Big Black Mariah' I've been obsessed with the idea of seeing her live.
It may be the first time me and Stormy split up for a set cuz (correct me if I'm wrong, dearest) I'm pretty sure she wants to see the Shins. Gah, and I do too, but god damn! Festival conflicts have always been a kind of ethereal notion for me, but this... This is murder.

Oh well, I can at least catch a good chunk of the Shins before heading to St. Vincent, and then that wraps up just in time for Jack White -- which I am become absurdly excited for, for reasons I can't understand.

Y'know, just to make things even more complicated ;D I'm 2 songs into St. Vincent's set right now. Fucking phenomenal!!!! Oh Man! 'Surgeon' was absolutely nuts! This is the "set of the weekend" for me at Sasquatch. ALL HAIL ANNIE! That is one of the greatest 45mins sets I have EVER seen! No exaggeration. There are probably at least 12 things that are tied for "Coolest Moment of the Set", all in a short (but perfect) 45mins. Unbelievable.

Whenever I have a conflict like The Shins and St. Vincent, I just go with the bigger band (The Shins). I love both so very much, but I'll have another chance to see St. Vincent and won't have to pay very much. The Shins next show in Portland will probably be pretty spendy.

Saturday up until about 3pm is totally up in the air for me too, I haven't heard more than one song from any of those bands so I'll probably just follow my friends, if they even feel like leaving the campground before 2. And I personally don't see why anyone would want to miss The Joy Formidable for fun. Their album from last year is just all sorts of awesome and they put on great live shows from what I've heard.

I used to listen to fun. in highschool a bit, so I'm going to check them out even though I don't like them very much now. If you haven't seen The Joy Formidable, go for that.

Fuuuck I can't decide between Metric and Purity Ring

If you've never seen Metric, see them. Purity Ring is just starting out and you will have lots of chances to see them for less than $20. Metric on the other hand doesn't seem to tour as much as they used to and tickets probably would be well over $20.
I've seen Metric like 8 times and I'm still picking them because I love their live show that much and want to hear some of their new songs.

I'm leaving any and all moderation of this thread to those that are actually attending the festival. It is far too depressing/boring to attempt to catch up on this shit.

I've been to 3 or 4 of their headlining shows, and this time they have new material so I want to see them even more. As far as I know Sasquatch is their first show since the break from touring.

This conflict sucks because I have never seen the Shins but I really want to see St. Vincent and especially now that everyone came back from Coachella raving about it.

Since I've never seen either the Shins or St Vincent and they both have a huge following here I guess I will have to go back and forth. That's my usual festival strategy anyway.

I saw the Shins in their heyday. I've seen St. Vincent before as well. I probably listen to the Shins more than St. Vincent on record. That being said, I'm going with St. Vincent.
