Oh fuck Mogwai and Spiritualized. Shit. You have got to be fucking kidding me. Not each other! Other things! But on second look I don't think it's going to be a problem. They're overlapping the main stage but with enough time to see everything I think. Lots of running though!

Friday: Gonna have to bounce between the Sasquatch and Bigfoot stages for Girl Talk / EITS / Pretty Lights but at least I could catch at least a half hour of each.
Saturday: The Civil Wars vs. Alabama Shakes. Tough choice, but going with The Civil Wars. Later in the evening it looks like more bouncing between stages for Metric / Tune-Yards / The Shins / St. Vincent / Jack White / The Roots. Thankfully this is again laid out in a way where I can see some or all of each.
Sunday: Again, another evening spent bouncing between Sasquatch and Bigfoot for M. Ward / Wild Flag / Head and the Heart / The Walkmen / Beirut / Little Dragon / James Murphy / Feed Me.
Monday: Would have liked seeing Nero but I'm not missing any of Beck.

So guys, as a first timer I have no idea what the actual shape of the venue is, and the site does not seem interested in postin the map. How far apart are the various stages? My usual strategy at a multi-stage festival is to just bounce around for a few minutes at each stage that conflicts, especially if I'm unfamiliar with the groups, and spend more time at the main acts I know and love. Of course I always manage to fall for an unknown group and bust up my plan, but that's life.

The stages are all pretty close, with the main Sasquatch stage being the furthest (assuming you want to get all the way to the bottom of the hill).

And Active Child vs Tycho makes me sad. At least we can catch half of each.

Conflicts aren't terrible for me. Bon Iver/James Murphy is probably the worst of it. The Shins/St. Vincent is disappointing, but manageable.
Also I appreciate that the late-night sets aren't starting until after the headliners are finished.

Also I appreciate that the late-night sets aren't starting until after the headliners are finished. Seriously. Last year I hated how Ratatat started in the middle of Modest Mouse's set. The Flaming Lips' late start/end didn't help the already poor scheduling either. I ended up only catching three of Ratatat's songs that evening... Is anyone also particularly excited for a late night hip-hop set by The Roots? ;D

They were definitely one of my most anticipated acts on the lineup, but I just couldn't tear myself away from that fucking incredible Modest Mouse set. Is anyone also particularly excited for a late night hip-hop set by The Roots? ;D YES!

...even though I hate the Roots. Seriously, I fucking hate them. But a late-night hip-hop act is a step in the right direction, especially with the EDM-dominated Friday.
And anyway, I hear they put on a great show.

I am a little bummed over Wolfgang Gartner/Jack White but my plan is to go tuneyards - St Vincent until Wolfgang starts and then stay there until about 10:30 so I can see an hour of Jack. Not too bad.
