I don't think I have gone to a single comedy act at the two Sasquatchs I have been to.
Live comedy just really isn't my thing.

Have you ever tried live comedy, Figgy?

The only live comedy I've ever seen is at Sasquatch (except that time Tosh played at my college). I used to skip it but now I find it makes for a good afternoon break to sit in the tent. Last year I watched Reggie Watts and Tig Notaro and loved both.

Testimonials at their greatest! The comedy lineup is usually half my motivation for coming to Sasquatch. Still can't believe I got to see Tim and Eric, Zach Galifianakis, Todd Barry, Aziz Ansari, and H. Jon Benjamin all in the same weekend. And I even like the '08 comedy lineup more than that.

Not for anybody other than local comedy nights, which I expect to suck and I go to for the sole purpose of heckling my friends who try it.
I don't even care for watching most recordings of standup. The only stand up comedian who I really enjoy is Louis CK. Everybody else that I have watched gets me laughing but I find it boring regardless.

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of comedians who I really enjoy their material but at a music festival of all places, I want to be doing something else. If I am worn out and need a mid-day rest, I am going to lay out on the hill and catch a nap not pack myself into the Banana Shack to try and listen to some stand up. Just personal preference really.

I really enjoy stand up comedy, but in a festival setting it does not appeal to me at all.
I didn't see anyone last year, and I think I saw a couple people at roo a few years ago and I hated it. Although I really like Rob Delany on twitter, and that dude from the League is pretty funny...so maybe if there isn't anything going on I'll go check them out.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy EITS, but I really don't feel like a festival is the best place to experience them Oh how you are so, so wrong my friend.

I've had some good times in the comedy tent. I love stand-up in a live setting a lot though. But it's a nice place to eat lunch if anything!

Who doesn't like shade and laughter? Comedy tent is the bees knees if you make it in that early.

I've only seen two comedy acts in four years of going to Sasquatch and I can't say I enjoyed any of it. I know Reggie Watts was one of them. There were definitely acts that I would have liked to see, but they scheduled them at times when good bands were on the Sasquatch stage. I'd only go back for another comedy set if there's no bands I'm remotely interested in. That's not gonna happen this year, since the lineup is full of good stuff top to bottom.

Yeah thats what I do, if no bands interest me its off to the comedy tent for a little water and relaxation. Paul F. Thomkins killed it last year

If it wasn't for Reggie and Tig (both awesome) each doing sets during that show it would have been pretty lame. The shitty thing about the comedy at Sasquatch is the big acts usually have a crowd so big that it makes the show less enjoyable. The shows where I get to sit down and watch are far better, but they are usually acts that I am less interested in.

If only a big shady area were somewhere else too, then the people in the horribly-named Banana Shack would be purely comedy fans and not just people getting in from the shade. Those people seem to be the ones who enjoy it the least.

Though at the same time, I guess that is a genius way to get comedians new fans, so nevermind.
