I think the Maine stage will end up being where they usually have the honey buckets, between the banana shack and the main stage

Last year we had 22 acts on the Yeti stage: 7 per day per day, except on Friday when just one played. So far this year there are 27 acts announced for that stage. Of those 27, 3 are confirmed for Friday, 6 for Sunday, and 7 each for Saturday and Monday. Of the remaining 4, how do you all think it will break down? 8 acts per day Saturday-Monday with 3 on Friday or 7 acts per day Sat-Mon with 6 on Friday or maybe some get moved to other stages or what?

I hope they change some other people to other stages so that we get fuller sets on the Sasquatch stage, but who knows.

Do they usually close the Bigfoot stage that early on Friday? I thought it went later than that and that it would at least conflict with some of or all of Girl Talk.

Last year, the last Bigfoot act on Friday ended at 7:10.
We currently have 3 Bigfoot acts confirmed for Friday, which is the same as last year. The only Bigfoot acts with unconfirmed days are The Roots and The Walkmen.

Last year the Bigfoot was also closed out by Against Me! who was half way down the poster while EITS is in the big font, so I doubt they will do it the same.
No one really knows what they 'usually' do because this last year was the only year since 2006 where they had a Friday at all. I would guess since EITS is billed so high they will likely be playing against Girl Talk and/or Pretty Lights since I figure they will have to offer some alternative to dance music for those who prefer to stand still at shows. In fact I would take that whole made up schedule and poop all the bigfoot times a few hours later and maybe add another act before them all.
I also think Girl Talk would get more than half of the set time that Pretty Lights gets, but I'll just stop right there because I could pick at that thing for an hour.

clearly Friday this year will be very different from last year - all the stages are going, and it seems like it will be closer to the full sasquatch! experience than the tacked-on foo fighters show from last year (or NIN a few years back where only the mainstage was running). I fully expect the Wookiefoot to go much later, but probably not a late-night set -- although I wish they would... how cool would it be to have explosions late-night after pretty lights?
I figure the Walkmen could be on Friday, also three bands on the Yeti that don't have dates - We Are Augustines, Cass McCombs, & Coeur de Pirate - could fill out the day nicely. which would make sense, because the Yeti seems pretty full the rest of the weekend.

Cass McCombs is playing in San Fran on Friday, so he could be the 7th Yeti act on Sunday. As for the others...I really hope there's something else going on during Pretty Lights, so bring it on.

[edit - oh, you meant Pretty Lights. I hope so too, but won't hold my breath.]

I doubt that Pretty Lights and the dance tent will be the only things going on Friday night. Last year they put DJ Anejeleuie and That Kid in the tent during the Foos just so the raver kids would have something to do, so it seems unlikely that non EDM fans (though they are becoming more rare every year at Sasquatch) would be left with the decision of EDM or campground at 730.
I don't know what they are going to do exactly, but I am almost certain it will be impossible to see Girl Talk, Pretty Lights and EITS in full without cloning yourself.

So out of sheer boredom I was monkeying around with the faux schedual and it looks like there could be some major conflicts arising already. If it pans out the way it's been speculated one of the biggest is tUnE-yArDs, St. Vincent and The Shins. I would more than likely pick tUnE-yArDs and St. Vincent since I'm not overly impressed by The Shins music, but I would still like to see them.
The other big one looks to be the EITS, Girl Talk, Pretty Lights conflict. I've never seen EITS or Pretty Lights before, and when I saw Girl Talk it was on a really shitty stage in the pouring rain. I think that Girl Talk/Pretty Lights would be a fun night, but EITS are more my speed. But until the real schedual comes out, who the fuck knows.
