Most places don't even take those anymore. I've never encountered that, but I regularly get dirty looks from cashiers when they owe me multiple $1 bills, and I don't have enough change myself for them to give me a $5 back instead. |

Why don't Americans use $2 bills? Some people think they are bad luck or something? I know they exist, but I don't think I've ever seen one.

I've seen maybe three $2 bills in my entire life. Pretty sure they finally took them out of circulation.

They still keep them in pretty large quantities at most banks. My friend randomly pulled these out of his pocket a few months ago when we were partying.  |
