Am I the only one that noticed that Jack White's album is of the same name as the fictional music festival in Portlandia and they are both booked at Sasquatch? Coincidence? I think not. So you're saying there's gonna be a festival WITHIN the festival and The White Stripes are gonna play Portlandia music? What came first, the album or the fictitious festival?

That was not one of the options.

I know what a Blunderbuss is. That still doesn't clear up Portlandia having a festival named it, JW having an album named it, and them both being at Sasquatch. Portlandia was trying to tell us something. OR JW and Fred Armisen both happen to be antique arms enthuasists. I will take either option as gospel.

Fuck that, just get John C. Reilly on stage in full Sasquatch regalia during Tenacious D's set.
For motherfucking serious, if that doesn't happen I might just skip Squatch '13 because that's just fucking lazy. TENACIOUS D. HAS A SONG. ABOUT SASQUATCH. JOHN C. REILLY. WAS THE SASQUATCH. FOR TENACIOUS D. You drop the ball on this, Snack's, I swear to fucking Christ that I will not give you my three hundo next year.

HG is stoned posting.
Not the same as drunk posting.

HG is apparently referring to himself in the third person.

So let's all just keep that in mind when you look at HG's 'Top 40 Songs' list and see that the the very first song HG felt compelled to list was a fucking Sting song.
Shoulda been, like, number four or number seven, TOPS.

I bet you Tenacious D had at least a small something to do with John Reilly's name on the lineup.

I bet you Tenacious D had at least a small something to do with John Reilly's name on the lineup. I was going to say that his being signed to Third Man Records has more to do with it, but given he's playing on Monday per the TMR website (the same day Tenacious D is performing) and Jack White is performing on Saturday, there absolutely is no reason John C. Reilly should not appear as Sasquatch.

Same day?! Score! It's happening. Fuck you if you say it's not happening, 'cause it's happening.
Can we just change this to the "General Jack(s) Thread"?

No! Everytime I read this thread title I get "Meg White" by Ray LaMontagne stuck in my head only with Jack instead of Meg. And I like that song.

Got to see this madness. It was truly spectacular. The man even got a fuckin police escort. There are really no words to describe how amazing his new show is. I hope he brings both the girl and boy bands to Sasquatch.

Just got this album off the net. I had to register to tell everyone here that this will be ridiculously awesome live. It has everything.
I was on this site yesterday trying to decide whether to go for the first time or not. This sealed it.
The dubstep track is really cool.
