I still think either their S/T or De Stijl are my fave.

I love about 1/4 of White Blood Cells. Beyond that I have literally no use for Jack White.

Yeah, well. I'm not charging Jack White $300 to read my personal essays.

Anyone think he'll bring the Third Man truck with him? I'm going to guess "no" but there's no way of knowing.

Jack is a musical machine and I doubt he'll have trouble churning out enough new songs to fill most of his time slot. I'm with everyone hoping that's not the case. What I wonder is how many people we'll actually see on stage. I'm not going to be happy if it's Jack White sitting on a chair playing acoustic guitar in the middle of the main stage.

I posted a link a link on page 1 of this thread. The link is to to an article that lists his band members. If these are the band members on his album, there is a good chance they will play live with him as well.

I'd like to assume he'll be playing some of the songs that made him famous, not just a bunch of solo stuff that has a much smaller audience.

i really dont think he would play songs from his other bands as it is almost disrespectful to the other artist in those bands to play without them. I don't really see how it would be disrespectfull, especially considering Jack had most if of the influence in writing music for all of his bands. I know Brendan Benson had a significant role in the Raconteurs. Still, I don't hear anyone complaining about Paul playing Beatles songs.

maybe not disrespectful, but it just seems highly unlikely to me that he will play racontour or dead weather songs. Ive never seen solo jack white live, but he seems like the type that would want to play his current stuff rather than white stripes stuff that he has played 1000 times. We wouldnt complain if he plays his more well known songs.

I'm on SNL tonight along side Lindsay Lohan. If you're not all that interested in me, you might want to check in on the train wreck that is Lindsay Lohan.

I was very impressed by Jack White's performance on SNL tonight. It's nice to see all of that energy considering the recorded version of "Love Interruption" is pretty mellow. The live drums were a nice touch. I really enjoyed whatever his second song was, too. I'm now more pumped for him at Sasquatch.

"Love Interuption" was alright. Best part was the backup band of chicks with really bad hair. He came bck out for that second track backed up by dudes without bad hair (unfortunate) and railed. Way to bring it Jack.

Fucking yes! Jack White was awesome on SNL. Also, for a show that is notorious for terrible sound I thought the mix was perfect.

He was really great. I didn't understand the whole thing with having two backing bands though. I wonder how many musicians he'll be touring with. Great overall and I'm getting very excited to see him.
