Thank you for the link. I'm happy to see Jack still wants to rock the fuck out a little.

A little late on this, but fuck that Jack White SNL was awesome. That love interruption is a million times better than the recorded version, and that second song was tight as hell. I was already excited for him, and even more so now.

I enjoyed the Jimmy Page parts, but was confused by Jack White's mini-doppelganger schtick.
In other news, Jack White did a showcase at Third Man Records for radio biz people and apparently played a 40 minute set with each backing band from SNL during which he played songs from The White Stripes, Dead Weather, and Raconteurs as well as a few from the new album.
You guys are going to get one hell of a show at the Gorge.

He played Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground, Hotel Yorba, Top Yourself, You're Pretty Good Looking (For a Girl), Blue Blood Blues, We're Going to Be Friends, My Doorbell, I Cut Like a Buffalo, Ball and Biscuit, Steady As She Goes, and Seven Nation Army from previous projects. Looks like a pretty solid set.

'Hotel Yorba' is the only song that he's written that I would be sad about missing, but I'd be so sad about it that I'll probably sit through his whole damn set until he plays it (or doesn't).
