Oh God dammit, Drew! Stormy: you're almost making me wish I was going to participate in BiClyFri. Why aren't you wolfy?

So I have a friend that's coming up with my group that is dead set on watching BiClyFri. I for one have only heard of these guys through the grapevine, but every song I hear or video I watch flat out does absolutely nothing for me. I think this thread alone has more artistic merit than these guys do. Is there just something I'm missing about this whole fad, or am I a one man wolf pack here?

Is he watching them as a fan? I can not name a single person that has heard them and found merit in their music. I didn't even know it is a fad. Well besides here, but it is kind of different. BiClyFri will be epic and I really really hope they are not wearing shirts. am I a one man wolf pack here? You are in a three wolf moon pack.

When they first announced the addition of Biffy Clyro, people went "WTF IS THIS AWFUL SHIT" (Listen to The Captain if you want a similar reaction). Then people starting making jokes about the whole "Mon The Biff" thing that people shout during their concert and somehow that evolved into this brilliant thread and a board meeting during their set. Basically, it's one of those "it's so bad, it's almost good again" things.

Biffy is more like "it's so good, it's amazing." Stop it Gang.

I think the issue is that the amazingness of it goes beyond the realm of human understanding and therefore people become confused.

He told me that he heard of them a while ago and that he wanted to make sure he didn't miss them perform. So as a fan, I would probably say yes. I have been giving him so much shit this week for it that I just had to clarify this is more of long running joke than anything else. Mon the Biff.....I guess. ;D

I will admit that at the very least it will be entertaining to watch, as long as they keep their shirts on the whole time and I am way beyond the sobriety realm.

I've said it before.
Think of our love for Biffy Clyro as the same as one would love Troll 2 or The Room.

Ha ha ha. So your saying they will be like a cheesy "B" movie, but cheesy in a way that forces you to keep watching until the bitter end!
