I like your style, andimac. It's time for today's top 10.
1. Tenacious D 2. Mogwai 3. Cass McCombs 4. Beirut 5. Spiritualized 6. Cloud Cult 7. Tune-yards 8. St. Vincent 9. The Roots 10. Explosions in the Sky (Probably my favorite band to see live. Only #10 because this will be my 10th time seeing them)

I'm really liking Electric Guest. But considering these factors 1. A band from LA 2. Produced by Danger Mouse 3. On MTV's "15 bands to watch out for" 4. Playing the Bigfoot I'm sure they will be going down the Foster The People route very soon. Danger Mouse is totally going to botch that one.

I think someone may have said this on another thread somewhere, but this year's wookie stage lineup has got to be the best ever. If by Wookie you mean Bigfoot, then yes I said that. The Roots, Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, St. Vincent, Little Dragon, Tune-yards, Spiritualized, Kurt Vile, Cloud Cult...fucking stacked I say! It's just too bad somebody's got to play during The D. oh yeah! I miss the wookie. I could see the D headlining monday (call me crazy) and if that list bort is compiling is remotely correct they could conflict with Mogwai and/or Spiritualized. which would be brutal. or say they're on Saturday before Jack White (think about it -- Jack White & Jack Black, together at last!) then you could have the D up against St Vincent/Tune-Yards... ...of course speculation like that at this point is beyond ludicrous, point is there will be difficult decisions to be made this year because the wookiefoot lineup is so damn awesome.

bort! While I agree with most of your yes's and hell yes's, what I am seeing above is insanity. How can you not love The D? I thought the joke stopped being funny years ago.

Just starting to give Apparat a listen...nice! If anybody has some recommendations for Apparat songs lemme know!
I like that Sasquatch got a few more "ambient" electronic bands this year if thats what you could call it. ALL WE NEEDED WAS MUM.

"You Don't Know Me" by Apparat is perfect.

I can't remember the last time I ever saw Mum on a festival lineup. What a shame...

I would literally name my first child Mum in order to see them play a 30 minute long rendition of Land Between Solarsystems with the sun setting behind the gorge.

It is absolute shit they'll be playing on the yeti Yeah I agree but it will make for one hell of a show, and you can get super close so I'm not too upset. And they were on the video so they are gonna blow up before the weekend and I bet their show gets packed. Just like foster the people last year

St Vincent - I actually hope they move her to the mainstage because that would be beautiful That's not out of the realm of possibilities. Wasn't Iron & Wine initially supposed to play the Bigfoot before he switched with Robyn?

You people who can somehow retain these facts marvel me in the same way as those who can explain the universe's make up with math. I'm usually so excited and brain scrambled over the lineup and the thought of all the fun that I'm going to have that I even forget who is on the lineup. I swear, I have a hard time telling someone who played what stage even after seeing them play.

I just remember being outside.

Yeah I remember that switch because I was looking forward to a 2 hour set closing the bigfoot from Iron and Wine, and instead we got 35 minutes from Robyn. Best 35 minutes of my life.

Robyn was supposed to play on the main?? Bloody hell. The decision to play before Bassnectar on the same stage was a good decision.

If that was the case (god knows I don't remember) then I suppose that makes sense.
Actually, I now remember dancing with Cat and Stamper to Robyn while decorating myself with Glownectar BassSticks.
Touche. Good stage move.
