I did the suntan bottle thing for Coachella and Sasquatch last year. It's fine as long as you wash the hell out of the bottles before hand.

How big are normal sunscreen bottles? Somewhere around 200ml (7oz)? Not really enough to get you that drunk for the day, but I suppose I could add it in there with my other methods as a bonus. I've always been too lazy to clean out a bottle beforehand though, and too drunk to actually do it at Sasquatch.
Would be pretty funny if someone mistook it for actual suncreen and put a big strip of vodka down their arm.

You can find some pretty obnoxiously sized sunscreen bottles. Walmart has their own cheap brand that would be perfect for filling with booze. Great idea! I will likely do this for Drunkchella.

The sunscreen container idea is pretty brilliant until the yellow-shirts see you squirting sunscreen in your mouth or into a drink. If you conceal your mixing then you're in the clear though. haha exactly. My brother got pulled out of the pit last year when the yellow-shirts saw him taking a taste of his sunscreen. I always use a backpack with one of those removable plastic back plates. They have a velcro compartment to insert/remove the back plate and it's the perfect place to hide booze. Doesn't help with concealing your drinking once in the gorge though.

Just drink rum, vodka, gin or whatever straight. Put that into a water bottle and you will have no troubles. I have never been given any grief over "water" bottles. I've never done any elaborate bottle diguising either. I just fill the bottle to the brim and cap it, then push the plastic ring thing agaist the cap with my thump nail. Easy peasy. I don't mind the taste of rum or gin so drinking it straight doesn't bother me at all, but you can get flovored rums to ease the taste. I bought a Peach Rum last year, I think I shared it with many boardies over the weekend and no one thought it was really harsh.
Clear alcohol + Bottle with cap on = easy in everytime.
EDIT: The best thing is that you don't need to worry about drinking from your water bottle. It will never look suspicious.
EDIT II: Thump nail, ha ha ha!

Take it from me, though, red wine in a Sprite bottle is no good. LULZ!

A bottle of sunscreen and a bottle of bug spray full of liquor should put a significant dent in your booze budget once inside. Might not be enough for the whole day though. Get a couple friends together and smuggle in a few bottles of each, then just have 1 person bring in the actual sunscreen (and mark it accordingly) and you're laughing.
You can get a little pressure nozzle for a household tap (maybe $7) from any store that sells winemaking supplies. It's what we use to clean out beer bottles for our homemade cider. That would definitely blast any sunscreen residue out of the bottle for you.

I've never had an issue hiding things once I get it in. Either buy a bottle of coke or lemonade or one of those massive fruit juice cups and pour your booze in there, preferably in a honey bucket to avoid any yellowshirts. If you bring in your own powder, then bring in an empty water bottle that isn't clear.
If you're sneaky enough to get it in, don't blow it by drinking out of a sunscreen bottle or a clear water bottle with something that clearly isn't water.

You'll thank yourself and maybe me later.

Pouring liquid from one bottle to another in the honey buckets never bothered me, but if you have an issue with it you can always sit on the hill and do it inside your bag or something.

Assumed all had a fear (at least a bit) of the honey bucket.
Forgive my ill received advice.
Feel free to pour away.

I've done some unthinkable things inside honey buckets. Privacy is limited at festivals...what can I say?

Jesus. Bug spray bottle? That sounds super dangerous. I wouldn't even think twice about drinking out of one, but only if I personally cleaned it out very thoroughly. It would be a last resort for sneaking in booze for sure though.
