I just checked and LiveNation is selling "sold-out" Sasquatch tickets still. Bonnarroo had so much demand on day one that the website completely crashed and they tried again later. Coachella sold out 2 weekends in a snap. Sasquatch is still trying to dump tickets. Pretty Lights isn't a headliner. Not even a subheadliner. Bon Iver is a subheadliner. Beck is good but been here before and is semi-retired. The whole lineup is one of the weakest yet. I go every year but you guys' have to admit that there is something wrong when festival tickets are red hot everywhere but Sasquatch. It's the truth. They better bring it next year!

Furthermore, why is Head and the Heart playing a 7pm show? First off, they were there last year playing at like noon. Why again this year? They are playing after M. Ward. He gets 45 mins and those one trick ponies get an hour. It's absurd. Probably not the reason why Sasquatch isn't selling out but it doesn't help with poor scheduling like that.

It's been months and months and I can still go to Live Nation and get a ticket. You may label me a jackass but the facts are the facts. The lineup is weak, the concert is overpriced, and they didn't get the talent for four days as evidenced by the lack of legitimate headliners. I know numerous people who have gone to 5plus sasquatches who refused to even consider purchasing at over 300 dollars with that lineup. The facts don't lie, sasquatch needs retooling or else there won't be one anymore.

This is the second consecutive year that Sasquatch has announced it sold out and then a few weeks later you could buy on the site again. The fact that they keep faking sell outs should be concerning to fans.

I think you'll find that the majority of people on this board go to Sasquatch regardless of lineup in favor of the experience itself over anything else.

That being said, I love the lineup. It certainly pales on comparison to some of the other ones this year for sure, but as far as festivals in the PNW goes it reigns supreme once more. I plan on Sasquatch always being the one festival I go to so long as I'm in the PNW. If money permits me to go to another as well, then even better.

Very well said on the first point Fig and I totally agree on the second. I'm definitely more excited about this lineup than I was for last years and for a couple other years as well. I think it's a mix of you all introducing me to a lot of music in my time on this board as well as it just being a really solid lineup. This is the first year where I have almost no gaps in the schedule which I think is pretty awesome.
I really don't know what this guy has against it except that it's not his cup of tea, in which case I think it's pretty silly to come onto the Sasquatch message board every two weeks and try to rally us to his cause. The lineup is personal preference. Everything else (food, shower squalor, ridiculous amounts of advertising) is common and thus fair game.

One of my good friends and part of my sasquatch crew this year also went to coachella and came back saying that while it was amazing how organized it was, the experience was nothing comparable to sasquatch. Subjective of course, but you get the idea. In my mind it speaks to the overall Northwest US/Canadian mentality as opposed to...everywhere else.

I agree about Bon Iver and Pretty Lights as headliners, but the rest of the lineup is their strongest yet. So much I want to see.

In the last 2 years I attended Coachella, Outside Lands, and Sasquatch. Treasure Island too but I don't know how much that one counts as a big festival. They were all great, but Sasquatch has been my favorite. Which is why I chose to go again this year over Coachella.

Is Feist going to be playing with an orchestra, or was that just a Coachella thing?

This year's lineup is the best by a long shot since I started going in 2008. Sorry they didn't book Kings of Leon or Blink 182 so you'd have your dream lineup.

The fact that they keep faking sell outs should be concerning to fans. I find basically everything you say to be way off in my opinion. And next time why not put that all in one post instead of 5 separate ones. However I do agree with this. I don't know how they get away with saying it's sold out only to release a shit-ton more tickets nearer to the festival.

My take is that you call the thing sold out to make the folks who didn't purchase tickets but were considering going feel left out. Then, low and behold...MORE TICKETS!
Anyway, who gives a fuck whether the festival sells out or not? I sure don't. The fact is that if you want to go and it hasn't sold out your in luck and if you had already purchased a ticket your set regardless of how many additional tickets are sold.
