The Roots can get down right off the wall psychedelic just as good as any Jam Band. Plus you get some added funk. I'm getting more and more excited about them being the Sunday Late Night, especially since we'll most likely have had 2 nights of EDM already.

I thought for sure Kaskade or Avicii was going to be on the lineup, so either one of them would make sense. I've come down on my excitement for a Roots late night set. Don't get me wrong, they are definitely one of my most anticipated acts, but a late night set just feels really weird to me. They would be better suited elsewhere. Completely agree. Saw The Roots at the DMB fest this past summer and although the performance was quite entertaining it didn't seem to appear to be late night set worthy.

Avicii and his pretty-boy haircut can fuck right off for saturating the electronic world with that Levels abomination.

Is he the one that goes "Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom"?

IMO there is a distinct lack of boom, and way to much screech in that track.

Is that what the kids are calling boring and uninteresting these days? The Roots were horrid at the DMB festival. It might have been because it was still light out and I wasn't in a party mood yet. I am excited to see them in the late night slot so I can give them one more chance.

[ At DMB they were definietley "jamming". That right there, invalidates anything that follows.

Because Madeon is clearly the next obvious choice for a late night set... No it isn't but would Feed Me really be one in the first place? The more I think about it the more I feel like Wolfgang would do a late night better and have more original material to deserve it. Now if Teeth is going to be used this changes completely. Either way it won't be Madeon and it certainly won't be Kaskade. Kaskade is bigger than Pretty Lights in my book. Trust me I will be in attendance for all mentioned artists above if they are booked late.

I don't know which is worse, this statement or the Wilco coma statement. I won't start the argument though.
