Solid musicianship. Powerful voice. Thor Harris. Come on NJ.
Ah, you've activated my trap! Time for me to look over my logs... yeah, I log every band I've seen since '08, some OCD shit. Anyway, it's up to 190 unique bands (not too bad, probably well below some of y'all but ain't not no anti-negative average joe numbers neither).
There are a bunch where I don't really remember the details of the set. Only a few do I remember watching the set and going "MY GOD THIS IS NOT HOLDING MY ATTENTION AT ALL AND I WANT TO MOVE ON TO THE NEXT BAND AT THIS FEST OR WANT THEM TO BE DONE SO THE NEXT BAND CAN COME ON OR BE DONE SO I CAN LEAVE, DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION" and they are these:
- Doves, maybe? The heat may have been a factor with this one - Robyn Hitchcock - Shearwater - Echo & The Bunnymen - Flashy Python - Tegan & Sara (the second time, first time was alright) - Lower Dens - Little Scream
So maybe not the worst band, because I don't know every band, but of the bands I do know they're the worst. Band.
Although I do admit that this (http://beenlookingforthemagic.tumblr.com/post/1427157150/how-to-tour-in-a-band-or-whatever-by-thor-harris) which I just found, is awesome.
That seems like too many mainstage bands for Friday if Silversun Pickups are on Friday. Pretty Lights, Girl Talk, Santigold and Of Monsters and Men are already on there. That's all they had last year and I would imagine Girl Talk gets a longer set than DFA and Santigold gets a longer set than Bob or the Bronx.
