Yeah, I was drinking at a brewery last night and the bartender was playing this really ambient electronic music that I was really enjoying. My wife and I used the Shazam app to figure out who it was and found out that it was Tycho. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was someone on the Sasquatch lineup. It made me realize that this lineup is pretty fucking awesome because every day I find new artists from the lineup that really appeal to me.

Speaking of drugs and Honey Buckets, I just remembered that last year, during the Flaming Lips, my friend took some shrooms and accidentally locked himself in a Honey Bucket for about an hour and a half. (Yeah, I know this was pretty off-topic.)

He probably had more fun than if he would've actually watched their show.

Man, it's still so weird to me that the Flaming Lips playing The Soft Bulletin was the official train wreck of 2011. Even if some parts of their set were some of my favorite moments of the weekend, I can understand why they get the same level of ire as Pavement and The Mars Volta for that set.
I wish you guys could have seen what they can really do. Shouldn't have been that way.

I would freak out if I ate mushrooms and locked myself in a Honey Bucket.

I would freak out if I ate mushrooms and locked myself in a Honey Bucket. It happens. And the Flaming Lips were great every time they played before that.

Those must have been some bomb ass shrooms to make it so he couldn't figure out how to unlock a honeybucket. But yeah, this: He probably had more fun than if he would've actually watched their show. I still can't believe how that show was one of the biggest let downs of my music watching life while the last time I saw them was one of the best shows I ever saw in my music watching life.

I know the Lips can do better. They failed at Sasquatch 2011.

I think I'm the only one who doesn't mind that the set was bad. I would have been really sad if I missed something amazing.
