I'm putting hopeful money on late night sets by Explosions in the Sky and Mogwai. Out of all the artists on Bigfoot those two are the only ones that can really close a stage with any amount of grandeur. That would be prime That won't happen.

I honestly can't think of any late night sets at the moment...Considering both Wolfgang and Nero will be in the nanners.

For real. Wolfgang Gartner and Nero both would kill a late night set.

Honestly, and i know this isnt going to happen, but i wish Girl Talk was late night. Its more intimate that way then on the Sasquatch state.

What if the late night sets are in the Banana Shack instead of the Bigfoot stage?

Nero is probably doing a late night set. He is to big for the shack. He played wamu theater last time he was in Seattle.

I'm thinking the Roots will be doing a late-night set. Otherwise, I don't know why they'd be listed as playing the Bigfoot.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm just a bit surprised their not on the Sasquatch stage.

I think having late-night sets on the main stage makes a lot more sense since everybody is going to end up there at the end of the night anyway. Instead of having everybody attending go to a smaller stage.

I think having late-night sets on the main stage makes a lot more sense since everybody is going to end up there at the end of the night anyway. Instead of having everybody attending go to a smaller stage. There is some truth to that, but you also have to consider the wait between the headliner finishing and the late night act getting set up. With acts like Deadmau5 in the past, putting them on the bigfoot allowed them a ton of time to get their crazy rigs together.

Isn't there some kind of noise restriction on the main stage? I thought that was why the headliners ended early (in comparison to other festivals). Something about the residents down the river probably being able to hear everything?

If I lived by the river and I could hear everything, I would call and complain that the sets didn't go later.

Fits perfectly with the fact that I'm listening to Sam Cooke right now.

Imagine watching the glowpocalypse from the top of the hill, though. Wow. That's going to be incredible, though I plan to be in the middle of it.
