if i fill my camelbak with liquor and a mixer will they ask to open and smell it? I always fill my Camelbak with water before heading into the festival, and it has been discovered and dumped at the front gates exactly 50% of the time. I, personally, would not take that risk with booze. Plus, your mixer will fuck up your Camelbak. Sugar'n'stuff.

Yeah you can definitely bring in empty bottles. Pretty sure you are allowed a couple full bottles as well.

Bustin out the hand crank blender for some frozen drinks One of my friends has a gas powered blender (as in it has a 2 stroke motor). Not sure exactly how this came to be, and it's a bit awkward to use because it has no clutch. Still, it's the best thing ever for slushy drinks while camping.

I used to have one of the Vortex hand crank blenders and it made great pina coladas and frozen margs....lot of work, but got easier the more you made.

My buddy ha one of those hand crank blenders and I am always so amazed at how well it works. We even use it at backyard parties to save having to go inside!
He's one of those guys who has all the awesomest camping gadgets that you want to buy so hard when you're at MEC. He's great to camp with but I always feel really unprepared when I'm camping with him.

I think the best thing is to just bring marinated fruit in from your campsite(melons, pinapple, any other combination of fruit and booze you can think of) I personally will be downing pinapple and vodka non-stop! Anyone have ideas for "sneaking" booze in? One idea I had is to empty the batteries of your moderately sized flashlights and put baggies of booze or bottle shots in?
