And this is a message board, not a professional paper, therefore I do what I want.

So I think I'm gunna order my glowsticks in a few days. Questions:
What's a good price for 1000 on ebay?
I have someone in the states that I can ship it to, do they need to be there to sign for it or does it just get delievered like regular mail?

Stateside, someone should expect to pay $50 with free shipping for 1000 glowsticks, and no signature should be required for delivery.

Yeah, Souly shipped like ape thousand glow sticks to our house and they were all just sitting on the step for all the neighborhood Skrillex fans to pilfer when I got home.

I have to admit that I am astounded by the glowstick talk. It may sound like a stupid thing to say, but with this being organized I was thinking that there would be dozens of glowsticks for Glowpocalypse...but I keep reading that people are ordering thousands! This is not what I was expecting at all.
Now that I know how many glowsticks are going to be thrown around I may have to skip EITS to see Pretty Lights, if they conflict, just to see this shit go down.

I'm assuming you weren't at Bassnectar last year. Have you even seen the videos? Literally hundreds of thousands...

I guess I never realized how many glowsticks there were until seeing it in writing. I'm pretty fucking excited for this now.

I really want to see what it looks like from the hill but I will be on the floor when the chaos ensues. I'm sure people will take videos.

I'm sure we can find someone to be a designated video taker.

How about multiple video takers? This event is worth more than one angle of coverage! I volunteer! ;D
I've never brought my DSLR into a festival setting. To anyone that's done it before (sasquatch specifically), is it worth it?

To anyone that's done it before (sasquatch specifically), is it worth it? I brought my Nikon D40 into Live at Squamish and it was fine. Not really sure what you mean by 'worth it' but they take way better pictures (and video if yours does that, mine doesn't). If you have a bag anyway just shove it to the bottom wrapped in a hoodie or something and it will be fine. As long as you don't plan on getting right into the pit with it I don't think it's at much risk of getting broken.
