I MIGHT have work in the morning, so I'm not going to get drunk tonight. But I'll be enjoying everyone's drunken posts in sober mode. DIRECT VIOLATION. HAVE A DAMN DRINK RIGHT meow! I agree. I work at 7, but work comes all the time. Sasquatch lineup release once a year. Let's weigh the difference

They're playing Robyn in the intermission of the Canucks/red wings game. Sasquatch magic is on my side. How are you watching hockey and keeping up with this? I just read this right now.

So there are three bands I definitely want to play at Sasquatch this year: Bjork, Radiohead, and... and... um, the third band... er.
Oops.

Okay I'm here at the event. Keep the webpage open if you want to see when I stream. I'm afraid to stream too much or my battery will die down. So far, Nickelback has been confirmed as not invited. Stay chuned, kids.

In the meantime, I'm curious: what did you guys think of My Morning Jacket as headliners in 2010? A lot of people over at Inforoo argue that their 2008 late night was the best show in Bonnaroo's history (behind maybe Radiohead in '06). Were you guys just as blown away by MMJ? I saw them at Sasquatch in 2010 and then Bonnaroo the next year. The Bonnaroo set was better (which is saying something, as I liked Bonnaroo as a whole way less) for the following reasons: 1. It had a home-field feel to it, like Bruce at the Meadowlands (hello i am newjersey). They are the Most Bonnaroo Band (Fleet Foxes, for the record, are the Most Sasquatch Band). 2. I was more familiar with their music the second time around, and actually sang along a few times. OH-OH-OH-OHHHHHH, motherfucker. With that said, the Sasquatch set was nice and enjoyable too. I can't say "blown away," and they had the disadvantage of going after Broken Social Scene (set of the weekend, shut up), The National (a personal favorite), and Vampire Weekend (who fuckin' KILLED it), but it was a solid headlining set akin to The Cure in 2008, of which I am also not particularly a fan. The music blended well with the night, I suppose.

I saw our goal and that's about it. It's literally right above my laptop screen but I can't even pay attention to it.

I post all the time on the Bonnaroo ProBoards (Inforoo) under this same screen name if that helps prove my identity. If you guys get Beck everyone on Inforoo will be super jealous. Supposedly he put on a great show opening for Radiohead in 2006. Can't wait to see this year's lineup as I'm considering going for the first time. I loved MMJ at Sasquatch but the set was way different from the roo one. The sasquatch set was around 2 hours but the roo one was like 4 hours. I wish i could have been at that set so badly. Kirk Hammet playing one big holiday! I know, dude. I wish I'd been there as well. I just started going to Bonnaroo in 2010 so I got to see them at Roo last year opening for Arcade Fire and it was amazing (as was AF, one of the best nights of music of my life), but from all accounts, that 2008 late night was legendary. I would've loved to have seen that.
