Im still praying they do away with loud friday. Altough really, I dont remember much after BiCly from last years friday. no foo fighters remembrance? sad way to start the weekend. although you were doing it right. I remember getting trampled during DFA, and I remember singing to Foo as I wondered away from the mainstage. But there are a bunch of pics with me and switch and "faux geno" (switch's little bro) that I dont remember at all.

How are you watching hockey and keeping up with this? I just read this right meow. I saw our goal and that's about it. It's literally right above my laptop screen but I can't even pay attention to it. Listening on the ol' am radio. We don't have a tv right now, and I kinda like listening to hockey. You get to use your imagination more. Also I can Sasquatch lineup party at the same time so I win!

Not an MMJ fan. Probably never will be. I wasn't a fan until I saw them live. They're just one hell of a live band.

Could this be the year Sasquatch makes up for the years lacking post-punk, feminist, German proto-industrial bands? Malaria! or bust.

In the meantime, I'm curious: what did you guys think of My Morning Jacket as headliners in 2010? A lot of people over at Inforoo argue that their 2008 late night was the best show in Bonnaroo's history (behind maybe Radiohead in '06). Were you guys just as blown away by MMJ? I saw them at Sasquatch in 2010 and then Bonnaroo the next year. The Bonnaroo set was better (which is saying something, as I liked Bonnaroo as a whole way less) for the following reasons: 1. It had a home-field feel to it, like Bruce at the Meadowlands (hello i am newjersey). They are the Most Bonnaroo Band (Fleet Foxes, for the record, are the Most Sasquatch Band). 2. I was more familiar with their music the second time around, and actually sang along a few times. OH-OH-OH-OHHHHHH, motherfucker. With that said, the Sasquatch set was nice and enjoyable too. I can't say "blown away," and they had the disadvantage of going after Broken Social Scene (set of the weekend, shut up), The National (a personal favorite), and Vampire Weekend (who fuckin' KILLED it), but it was a solid headlining set akin to The Cure in 2008, of which I am also not particularly a fan. The music blended well with the night, I suppose. What were your issues with Bonnaroo as a whole?

I could unban him for the night and see if he comes back... Mase was only banned for a week. He came back after the festival and told us about how his whole crew got laid.
