Totally. And it is one of the few albums that I've heard for the first time on vinyl, I hadn't heard a track online before I bought it. It is great though.

Why? - Sod in the Seed (if EP's qualify) I was thinking of adding EPs on my list as well...or at least starting an EP specific list within the list

So there is a handful of lists on the first page that belong to users that by all accounts no longer post here. We've got andimac, Skeezy Kaneezy, stamper, and newjersey. If they're just going to sit there for no reason now, do you guys think I should pull them down? They're sort of becoming clutter at this point.

Not a bad idea; however, maybe archive them in a PM to yourself so that if they come back you don't have to comb through this whole thread to piece them back together.
Seriously, though, what the fuck happened to andimac?

Good call. Actually, I'll just save a word doc on my desktop with all of them. I wonder if we really drove off Stakey as well haha.
The andimac thing has had me confused for a long time now. He just stopped posting. No epic departure or anything.

Stakey deleted his account, but he's done that before. He'll probably come back eventually. Caaaaaan't wait for that.

You aren't kidding man. 2012 has been one of my favorite years of new releases ever. I'm finally going to give that Teengirl Fantasy a proper listen today as well. Glad to see you loved it.

I liked what I heard from that Swans album. I'll admit that's one band that I've never really paid any attention to, but I'm definitely going to spend some time with their new album.
Some others that might end up going on my list with some more spins are the new Wild Nothing, Deathspell Omega EP, Clams Casino mixtape, Mono, Spawn of Possession, and Orbital.
Seriously. Fucking 2012 man. What a year.

2012: meh. A lot of good albums, more than usual, but not a lot of great albums, in my mind. Sharon Van Etten is probably my favorite so far.

Twin Shadow - Confess Actress - R.I.P. I'd add both of these to mine as well. That Twin Shadow album really surprised me. Not usually my thang, but good goddamn I can't get enough of it. However all new albums and music of any sort has taken a far away back seat for me since the Centipede Hz stream. Holy fuck balls! So good. I've probably heard the album front to back at least 15 times and I still get my brain rattled by things I've missed.

For the record, I decided I loved the Swans album about 4 hours ago. Pitchfork said they loved it 20 minutes ago.
