I don't see LMFAO being absurd for a Coachella billing. There is a pretty high bro/yuppie factor and they would probably pack the Sahara.

You know, I really wouldn't mind if Muse headlined a night. From what I've seen, they put on really good shows.

From what I've seen, their lasers and visuals put on really good shows. Fixed. Muse is boring as fuck live. The bass player is the biggest joke of a live musician that I've ever seen.

Muse has to be the shittiest 'huge' band in the world. Worse than contemporary U2, worse than Coldplay, worse than Green Day, worse than Kings of Leon even.
Fuck Muse.

Where's the guilty pleasures thread so I can admit to liking that new song of theirs, Madness, without any shame?

That song isn't terrible, and in reply to HG, there is no possible way they can put on a worse show than Kings of Leon in 2009. Seriously one of the worst shows I have ever seen, and they were fucking headliners. At least Muse has lasers and shit. That being said, I still hope they don't headline.

I wonder if you guys would talk about Muse if I wasn't here. Like if you never met me. Probably not. Sorry.

Yeah, we would. Muse is too big and stupid to ignore.

As long as there was a piano on stage I wouldn't have too big a problem with it. (And I strongly dislike the new album.) I could think of a lot worse headliners.

I like Madness...and I feel like 2nd Law is better than The Resistance.
But I want them to stay the fuck away.

Honestly, other than their new song, I'm not sure I've ever heard a Muse song before. I never listened to that Olympics song that was posted 'cause the embedded player doesn't work on my iPad (but for awhile I was worried it might have been the same song as Madness though I distinctly remember you guys saying stuff about a dubstep beat, so I figured no), so far though this one song doesn't make me think negatively on them. And with all this talk about how horrible they would be, I almost want to see them now. Some sort of twisted car-crash with lasers type curiosity.
