Yeah... I'd like to plead temporary insanity. Same tour too.

The one time I saw them I had the time of my life, but I definitely left thinking, "Cool, don't need to do that again."

I can't see them bringing Muse out since they're a lot more likely to headline a Coachella or Bonnaroo-sized festival than Sasquatch, but if they did we'd be in for a treat. Like them or hate them, Muse puts on a world-class live show.

It was like being in a relationship with a crazy person and I didn't realize it until after we broke up.

I saw them at Key Arena and it was awesome. I was gunna say 'I dunno if Muse would work at an outdoor venue', then I remembered Live From Wembley and realized I was an idiot.

The last Key Arena show of theirs was incredible as far as the production went, but their 2007 stop in town still ranks as the best show I've ever seen, mostly because of the ridiculously good set list. 2010's set was too saturated with songs from The Resistance which I never started liking much.

The only thing I have to add to this conversation is that Map of the Problematique is a pretty rad song

Rampant Speculation:
Both Green Day and The Killers would make sense to be closers / 2nd last bands next year. Both have albums coming out in late 2012 (Green Day has 3 albums coming out before next years Sasquatch!). Both are hugely popular. I'm just not sure if Sasquatch would go in the "punk" direction with Green Day. I think they'd work, especially if what I've heard about the new albums is true (very indie apparantly). The Killers seem like a fit that makes sense just due to popularity. True fact, every hot girl in the world likes The Killers. If I ever go blind, this will be my test.
I'm also predicting Friday is another EDM main stage day because that seemed to be a gigantic success.

Chocolate milk came out my nose.

Chocolate milk came out my nose. Hey, Gramma. I missed you. On second reading, I realized that you were actually indicating that you missed 'Gramma' -- or rather, the Horned Gramma that would unabashedly talk shit to some dude who called Green Day's new album 'indie'. Somehow that is an even sweeter sentiment. Still, I stand by what I said -- any time you can make it down to Portland is the exact time that you should come down to Portland. Indy as fuck.

I'd argue "Indie" is the perfect term for a punk bank evolving into more of a rock band because, yknow, that's kinda what indie was when it started. Small record lables stuck somewhere between rock and punk. Want me to use the term "alternative" instead? But you're probably one of those guys that will correct a person calling Techno music Techno and tell them it's EDM, because that's what the 'kids these days' are calling it. Please describe the song '21 guns' to me without using the terms indie, alternative or any sub genre of either one. I'm expecting more rock and less punk. I think this trailer is the only "leaked" music from the new albums. It's indy as fuck. also:

tj, I like the cut of your jib. Would you object to a custom title... perhaps "indy as fuck"?
