Temper Trap are fucking amazing. Their first album is insanely good. My vote would be AWOL Nation Took the words out of my mouth - Sail is a great song, but they don't seem to have anything else. Their album was all over the place

FD, check out "Don't Say Oh Well" by Grouplove. I want to dance every time I hear that catchy little number.

I would rather this year's Foster the People be Grouplove, but as soon as Glee covered Fun I decided there was no stopping them. Either of them would be better than AWOLnation, that song they have annoys me way more than the former 2 bands.

Every song on Awolnation's album sounds like it was written by a different band. The inconsistency of that album is truly unlike anything I've ever heard.

I'm sorry to say that I think I've heard a little too many indie dance tunes like that for it to really get me groovin', but I do appreciate you not writing me off as some crotchety old negative Nancy and suggesting the song to me. Thanks man. To prove just how uncrotchey I am, here are some radio tunes that I dig when I am in alternate reality radio world in my car. Rihanna - We Fell in Love The Black Keys - Lonely Boy Florence and the Machine - Shake It Out Gotye - Somebody That I Used to Know Mumford and Sons - Roll Away Your Stone Young The Giant - My Body(?) Lady Gaga - You and I T-Pain - 5 O'Clock Coldplay - Paradise Drake - Headlines Beyonce - Countdown (obviously!!!!!)

Interesting, I'll admit that song turned me off enough to not give their album a chance. The singing in that song is so damn grating it makes it unlistenable for me.

I have a friend that really likes them so I sort of gave the album a shot for her sake.

I can't believe you guys aren't calling Foster the People 'Foster the Sheeple.' Could there be a more perfect description?

I would imagine that these bands won't be at Sasquatch this year with Field Day happening in London on June 2nd:
Afrocubism / Andrew Bird / Baxter Dury / Beirut / Com Truise/ Errors / Fennesz / Franz Ferdinand / Gold Panda / Here We Go Magic /Hudson Mohawke - Live / Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard / Julio Bashmore Metronomy / Outfit / Maya Jane Coles / Papa M / Peaking Lights R. Stevie Moore / Revere / Rocketnumbernine / Rustie / SBTRKT/ Tortoise / To Kill a King The Vaccines / Zulu Winter
Not too many big names, but a few candidates that probably won't be at Sasquatch

Also, these are the bands playing Primavera in Spain on the same weekend, so no Sasquatch appearance...
Death Cab for Cutie / Franz Ferdinand / The xx / Björk / Wilco / Beach House / The Drums / Yo La Tengo / Washed Out / Neon Indian / SBTRKT / Death In Vegas / Spiritualized / White Denim / Mudhoney / Other Lives / Shellac / Dirty Three / Olivia Tremor Control / Archers of Loaf / Jeff Mangum / Veronica Falls / Off! / ASAP Rocky / Josh T. Pearson / Godflesh / Baxter Dury / Siskiyou / Sandro Perri / Codeine / Lisabo

Primavera doesn't start until Wednesday the 30th, two days after Sasquatch ends. Any of those bands could play both.

So Foster The People are gonna be playin' Seattle and Portland less than a month after Sasquatch. I obscenely speculate that this makes them a less likely candidate for the lineup. Which again begs the question, who is playing at Sasquatch 2012? Only the good bands I hope!

Can we pause for a moment and seriously recognize how absolutely fucking unusually quiet the rumor mill has been for Sasquatch this year? Shit's cray yo!
