Muse's first album, Showbiz, is the shit.
Showbiz was released thirteen years ago.
In the intervening thirteen years, Muse hasn't released one album that isn't the epitome of shitome.
Fuck Muse.

Seriously, though, listen to Showbiz. 'Muscle Museum' is dope.

Seriously, though, listen to Showbiz. 'Muscle Museum' is dope. Unintended was one of the first Muse songs I heard (I still love that song)...and it was on a suicide memorial page.

Honestly, other than their new song, I'm not sure I've ever heard a Muse song before. I don't think it's possible to have lived through the last 2 years without hearing 'Uprising' at least 500 times. That song was everywhere. I'd post the youtube... but nah.

I love Absolution. I'm such a sucker for piano driven rock though.

Pretty sure they played it about 3748 times and The Fox also played it at least that many times.
It was one of those songs that was generic enough to be played on pretty much every radio station, much like that fun. song.

I've seen that song live so many times I could project it out of my eyeballs on to a blank wall.

Hahah, read this thread right after seeing the most adorable facebook bitch fight between Burrito's baby brother and all his junior high friends regarding MUSE v. Radiohead. Fish (baby burrito) is yellin at all his friends about how Muse is just a really awful version of Radiohead and telling them they should all be listening to BTS and Explosions- awww, he makes us so proud right now.
The only Muse song I know by name is Butterflies and Hurricanes because I was in high school when it was popular and it really did have a fucking impressive piano solo... but then that dude started singing and ruined it all. Based soley on that one song it seems that Muse would be at least half as shitty if they just didn't have a singer/lyrics.

My brothers are way too cool for Albuquerque, where the scene is heavy metal or death.

Killers are a rumor. Skip seattle on their up coming tour, but hit portland and Vancouver. I really hope this doesn't happen.
