The thing about Pickfork's list is that they always try to be representative with the top tracks. Like, did you really think the Fever Ray song from the Little Red Riding Hood soundtrack was that good?

my undergrad philosophy papers's best 100 tracks of 2011: http://my undergrad philosophy papers.com/features/staff-lists/8726-the-top-100-tracks-of-2011/ Ok you know what? Fuck this. I'm also stepping away from this board until this fil.ter nonsense is over with. Some one needs to come up with a fil.ter for "fil.ter". I wanna see Snapsville!

A lot of the list I didn't really agree with, but Pitchfork pretty much nailed the top 10

Yes! M83's "Midnight City" named track of the year by P4K. Finally something I agree with 100%. That damn song will go down as one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time.

They also named this as number 25 and I don't know what to think. On one hand, I'm happy to have this in my life because it's ridiculous. I don't think I mean that in a good way though...

Aalyiah - Age Ain't Nothin' But A Number but I also heard that you like that song, The Terribly Taken Out Of Contexts - "Can't a guy just do something upstanding without getting a hard time for it?" It is a tragic ballad, I will give you that.

I know Gramma would agree with you about "French Exit" being the best Antlers song. I'm not too keen on "I Don't Want To Love" but "Putting The Dog To Sleep" is awesome. My favorite is still "Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out." I might be alone on that one. Not alone. I was torn between posting Got It All, You Carried Us (Share with me the Sun), and Sleep Forever... and here comes Pea with 1,000,000 best songs (including 2 of the 3 P. The Man songs I mentioned)... lol Fox gets me. Pea, you screwed up forgetting "Got It All." I've boogied my ass off to that song live. Also: The Low Anthem - Apothecary Love

Any particular reason you chose this song? (insert irony) Catchy as hell, I agree, but a bit annoying in my mind. I've had it out with you about this album already, but I think if you removed five songs, it's one of the best hip hop albums of the year. It's creeped back into my top 50. He's making every verse clever while everyone else is trying to rhyme. Best rapper alive.

No, for the same reason. I like his lyrics, not the annoying BS going on in the background.

No, for the same reason. I like his lyrics, not the annoying BS going on in the background. I have a friend who's a Lil Wayne fan except for those songs, too. Must be a thing. I love it - I don't focus on the structure or production, just the rhymes. Also along those lines is Break Up. You'll like this one I think FD:
