I appreciate the effort, but I never meant to blame anyone. I just don't like Alice in Chains.

As probably made aware, I am a huge Pearl Jam fan, and I would agree with you Davers that "Last Kiss" is a wretched song. How the fuck it became a single, and one of their biggest, is beyond me. I would not judge them based on that song. I dont judge them on that one song, but I will admit it made me far less interested to give anything else by them much of a shot when I was a kid. I've grown into Pearl Jam since then but I have still yet to see why they are worthy of some of the praise they were/are given. I guess it probably would have helped to be older than 4 years old when Ten came out.

...and I would agree with you Davers that "Last Kiss" is a wretched song. Just to be clear, you were referring to Pearl Jam's version of the song, right? Wait…Unless that was a pun. Was that a pun? I love puns. Good one. Wait…If that were a pun then you would be implying that the song itself is wretched and not simply depicting wretched circumstances. Unless said pun was referring to Pearl Jam's version of the song. Just to be clear, you were referring to Pearl Jam's version of the song, right?

Don't worry Rusty, you're not alone. I respect Alice in Chains for what they are, but they really never did anything for me. Elliott Smith got me through a lot though. And at least in my opinion, his harmonic progressions are other-worldy/dreamy/easy to get lost in.

EDIT:Sick of this not being able to delete posts thing. Yes! I say the dumbest things/have to edit everything due to my shitty typing. I'm just going to start erasing everything, only letting people know that at one time there was something stupid written there.

ROUND of 24This seems like it's biased against hip hop. There was 2 artists left and they ended up against each other. Group 1 winner faces Group 2 loser, Group 2 winner faces Group 3 loser, Group 3 Winner faces Group 4 loser, Group 4 winner faces Group 1 loser. Beastie Boys finished first in group 4, 2Pac finished second in group 1, therefore they face each other. the competition isn't rigged, nor do i have a bias against hip hop. i'm addressing this now because it is the 2nd time its been mentioned during this tournament, and i think it's kinda silly. I named the 12 or so biggest names in hip hop that had even a moderate chance in doing well in a tournament that is being voted on by a group of hipsters, Dubstep kids, brit-pop lovers, metal heads, and Pitchfork super fans. Additionally, i expanded the competition from 64 acts to 144 acts, which included several other R&B acts. if anything i have a bias against Country. I mean seriously, no Garth Brooks? The guy had an album every year in the 90s, and was by far the most successful artist that entire decade. WTFuck is up with that Stamper?! if you really felt there weren't enough hip hop/r&b/reggae/african beat music/soca/polka/irish drinking songs/yodeling/etc you could have asked for a more diverse representation. it's not like i didn't give people an ample opportunity. long story short, quit your bitching.
