I hope so! I need more afrobeat-ska-polka-indie tunes to dance badly to. You should try Graceland by Paul Simon. That kid's got himself a future I tells ya! *chomps on unlit cigar*

For the other Alcest fan(s) here, their new album just leaked and I will be listening to it over and over for the rest of the day. EDIT: As of 1/4/12, album of the year.

New Shins song is pretty great and catchy as hell. I'm so happy to hear James Mercer singing like he actually gives a fuck again. God I hated everything he did on that Broken Bells album.

I'm not sure how much traction this is going to get outside Minnesota but these guys are the biggest thing in the state right now. The whole album is pretty solid as long as you don't mind autotune. Brought to you by a few of the people behind Gayngs:

I like the song a lot but I find it funny that he justified firing his whole band cause he wanted to try something different, and then he just releases a song that sounds like all of his others.

/mu/ seems to actually like the new of Montreal album, which is weird because they hate everything.

FUCK of Montreal. I heard the new single and it literally ruined my day. That atonal, shrieking throatsinging he does on every fucking track makes me want to murder Kevin Barnes with a hammer.

Hahaha! I'm quite certain I'll agree when I listen to it. They really have spiraled into something terrible and bizarre.
