I don't think they've ever played Sasquatch?

i will say this about Metric, they weren't nearly as irritating as i expected them to be when i saw them last year.

I've long since resigned myself to the fact that Metric will be at every concert festival I ever attend. As much of a fan of Broken Social Scene I am, it's odd I haven't spent much time checking out Metric, Feist, or Stars.

I really enjoy whichever Stars album my girlfriend has in her car. Other than that I haven't listened to anything by them. *edit* The album is 'Set Yourself on Fire'.
It's kind of a running joke I have with a few people that Metric plays every Canadian festival they possibly can. I think just in this past year they played both Squamish and Sonic Boom (their 2nd time at that festival), and previously they were at Pemberton, Lilith Fair, Ottawa Bluesfest, Osheaga, Edgefest and virtually any festival happening in Montreal or Toronto.
You're right though, I don't think they've ever done Sasquatch. If they get their new record out early enough in the year I could easily see them there in 2012.

That's awesome news! It's actually going to be the E street band? Any word on how they are going to replace the Big Man?

Americans can ignore the following piece of news: Big Wreck is back together! New album coming out early 2012, first single was just released and you can hear it on Ian Thornley's website thornleymusic.com/

From what I can tell it's about half the lineup...
If I recall the last tour was "Ian Thornley and Big Wreck", this is just being billed as "Big Wreck".

That song is awesome. Big Wreck is still one of my favourite 90's bands. Ian Thornley's solo material tread to heavily on the FM Nickelback side, but Big Wreck are great. Looking forward to this for sure.

Americans can ignore the following piece of news: This header worked for me! I saw this and figured that skipping over the canadians posts would save me what I usually view as wasted time, and lo! It did. Thank you wompwomp. (but seriously, I kid.)

JWW, a dude on the Coachella board has an avatar of the same dude as yours, and the exact same "bacon" subtitle. Who copied who?

Well, I have not been on the Coachella boards since before Parks and Rec was a show, so I'm gonna have to go with IMMA CUT THAT MAHFUCKA FO STEALIN MY SHIT!
Really though, its just one of the best Ron Swanson images followed by one of the best Ron Swanson quotes.
But no, I think that guy totally stole it. I'm flattered.

Know pretty much trolled the fuck out of some of their top posters and they didn't even know the better. I was in stitches reading their responses to him.

Know did you have a bit of a blow-up on the Coachella board this weekend? Blow-up? Haha, no. It's been so long since I've been able to pick a fight on a message board. Sometimes I miss it. Keeps the brain sharp.

I'm gonna go over there and cause a ruckus and then make them make me a moderator. See you assholes in the funny papers.

I don't really see why anyone would go to that board other then to troll. They talk about the same things over and over again...and yell at anyone who interrupts that; that place sucks.
