Maybe I'm just not old enough (I'm 27) but I've never heard of At The Drive-In. I'm 21 and I know ATDI... Age doesn't matter.

Trailer for the LCD Soundsystem movie "Shut up and Play the Hits":
Looks incredible.
God damn it, the trailer even choked me up. My favorite band and I never got a chance to see them. I still can't believe it's over.

My favorite band and I never got a chance to see them. I still can't believe it's over. That is tragic Womp. I know it ain't the same, but if you can ever get out to see a Soulwax or, better yet, a Radio Soulwax show you are almost reaching the amazing high of seeing a LCD show.

I still can't believe it's over. Seeing them at Sasquatch was one of the best shows I've witnessed. I didn't know at the time that it would be the only time I'd see them live. Hoping they'll have a reunion in a few years, Sasquatch 2017? ;D

The day I saw the LCD show a Sasquatch was probably the happiest I've ever been.

I honestly listened to LCD Soundsystem because I wanted to know what all the fuss about them breaking up was. I had no idea what I was missing out on. Less than a year later they're on my top 10 favourite band list. That trailer made me tear up, and I can only hope for a reunion one day.

Seeing them at Sasquatch was pure bliss to the dome. It was one of the first times I had ever just fully let go and dance. meow I dance to anything and everything like a wild person. On this pace you'll see them at Coachella in 6 years, so cheer up

I've been listening to All My Friends every morning on the way to school, as much as I'd like to see the film, I think it'd upset me than anything

I was the same way, I hadn't given them a listen until I saw their name on the Sasquatch lineup. I guess I thought from their name that they'd be a lame EDM act. They were about all I listened to for the month leading up to Sasquatch, and for at least 2 months afterward. I seriously considered making the trip to NYC for their last show but couldn't justify the expense

I guess I have no one to blame but myself, because I had the chance, I just couldn't do it. Fucking Bonnaroo. LCD played at 2:30 in the morning on the second day of the festival. This was after spending two days wandering around a dust bowl on the surface of the sun, three nights of barely sleeping and at this point I didn't do drugs...
I basically wanted to die (I had thrown up twice that day already because of the heat), but I rallied and managed to make it through Daryl Hall and Chromeo, which was right before, but as soon as it was over I just went and laid under a tree and passed out until the morning. Didn't make it back to my tent. Missed LCD Soundystem, and never had another chance to see them again.
Fucking Bonnaroo. I feel like the Beatles would have to reunite to get me back to that festival.

I'll always wish I could have seen LCD in a club, but their Sasquatch set is one of the greatest moments in my life just the same. I'll never get to say I saw Talking Heads, but I can always say I got to see THE LCD Soundsystem show.

Yeah I'd heard about it, but I hadn't seen any details. Sounds pretty interesting.
Gener's solo tours have focused on strripped-down Ween material, but I highly doubt Deaner would have signed off on him using a batch of potential Ween songs or even pre-existing Ween songs for a solo record.
Gener's voice is so versatile and so damn beautiful, this will definitely be worth checking out.
