I'm a fan. It's complete gibberish but this place is more fun with trolls, especially when we have nothing better to talk about

The best question for me is "What would it take to get me to come to Sasquatch this year?"
The easy answer is probably Radiohead or The Beastie Boys; other than that... I dunno. I've seen pretty much every "big" thing there is to see that I care about enough to go all the way out that far, especially considering the F'Lips, which would possibly have been enough, played this year. After that it gets kind of out-of-range (Kanye/Jay-Z is the first thing that comes to mind).
I have this weird feeling that Coldplay is gonna headline.

I agree with the Coldplay guess. I also have a feeling that Red Hot Chili Peppers are going to headline another night. These are not my wishes, just guesses. I've never seen RHCP before so I wouldn't complain too much, and Coldplay put on a good show so I wouldn't cry over that either.
But in the end there are a crap load of other bands I'd rather see headline.

If they're doing another big headliner on Friday then either of those could play. Otherwise, Coldplay and RHCP are like 4 times bigger than any of the sat-mon headliners we had last year. After the quick sellout it's much more likely that they'll get smaller headliners than they will get bigger ones

Same with RHCP, Foo Fighters, the big bands that can do legitimate "greatest hits" albums.

I really can't tell if this guy is a troll or just an idiot. I think he is a little bit of both. I swear the exact same thing was said about E. We need to start getting better at spotting trolls.

speaking of Coldplay... i saw them a couple nights ago (Music Midtown) for the third time. Yes, they put on a great show - but the main thing that frustrates me about their shows is that they almost never play for more than 90 minutes.
Seriously - they have enough music in their catalog to play for more than two hours. Even an Antlers show lasts for 90 minutes and they only have 2 albums. It's clear to anybody with a brain that Coldplay desperately wants to be the new U2 - but sorry, an 80 minute concert just isn't gonna cut it.

Ha. Kiedis is great in that movie. It seems that lately every thread is Point Break.

I have this weird feeling that Coldplay is gonna headline. If you're going to pay the pretty penny to have Coldplay headline, you might as well just pay Pearl Jam to headline instead. That makes about 1,834 times more sense.

Amen to that. My life would then be complete.
