I saw Steel Panther in Vegas a couple of years ago and they were awesome live. Great band for the wishlist.

i would thoroughly enjoy Steel panther being at this years sasquatch. This. Though I have no idea where they would fit. They are musically too heavy to play the comedy tent and their lyrics are way too funny to play an actual stage as a serious act.

I'm probably the only one who wants this to happen, but...I want Bush to play Sasquatch.
Stick 'em in the 2nd stage headliner spot on one of the days.

I would have no issues with that. Is Bush's new album any good? After the first two they went downhill really fast.

Not sure. I'm going to listen to it after I'm done re-listening to Sixteen Stone and Razorblade Suitcase.
*post-listen edit* While it's definitely a Bush album, they seem to have lost their edge. It's understandable, and I'd actually be shocked if they were still as angry as they were 15yrs ago. It's like a very toned-down version of their previous work.

So my songkick app just told me that M83 will be playing a show in Seattle on April 26, 2012. I think a date up the coast a week after Coachella really strengthens the chances of them playing that fest, but what about Sasquatch? Would that be too close a date to see them this year?
I definitely am still holding out hope for a sunset slot at the Gorge...

I refuse to acknowledge Coldplay as one of the biggest bands in the world. The idea is just too idiotic.

I wouldn't count out on it...there were at least three bands last year that played in Seattle between February and April and still showed up at Sasquatch. Question though: How popular is M83?

I think Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is set to be their breakout album. 2012 is going to be a pretty big year for them.
EVIDENCE:
They just played Neumos in Seattle, but are coming back in April to play the Neptune. That venue is at least twice as big I'm thinking.

I may have to check them out after hearing all the amazing things I've heard on here.
